Before Ruan Zhixing met Jiang Yan, her life was smooth and carefree. After meeting him, it was as if lard had clouded her mind, and she fell for him against her will.
When she learned that he already had a childhood sweetheart, Yan Qing, but had deliberately kept stringing her along, Ruan Zhixing's eyes showed just how much she loathed him. Yet her mouth spoke words that made her want to slap herself: "I think I still like you."
From then on, Ruan Zhixing was swept up in this inexplicable love triangle. No, it was more like a tragic romance that belonged solely to Jiang Yan and Yan Qing. They were the ones in love, but she was the one who suffered!
Later, the third young master of the Su family, who had been away recovering from an illness, also got involved. Whenever Ruan Zhixing went to Jiang Yan to get hurt, Su Xianzhi would appear right on cue.
With the plot controlling her, Ruan Zhixing was waiting to confess to Jiang Yan. But after waiting and waiting, instead of Jiang Yan, Su Xianzhi showed up with an arrogant look and took her love letter, muttering, "Since you like me so much, I'll accept it!"
Ruan Zhixing was overjoyed that things had taken a different turn, but against her will, she said, "Move!"
The people lying in wait, ready to mock Ruan Zhixing: "Which idiot gave us the wrong intel?!"
But every time she and Su Xianzhi teamed up to change a plot point, Ruan Zhixing felt her mind grow a little clearer.
Later, with the help of a powerful mind-clearing potion from Su Xianzhi, Ruan Zhixing finally broke free of the plot's control.
Ruan Zhixing was rubbing her hands together, ready to strike back at the vile plot, kick the male lead, and tear the female lead apart, when someone grabbed the hem of her clothes and laced their fingers with hers.
Su Xianzhi sounded half pitiful, half threatening: "Keep using me if you want, but you can't leave me behind!"
Ruan Zhixing: ???

When Su Xianzhi was ambushed and left unconscious with serious injuries, something calling itself a System inexplicably sent him into a novel, where he became the ailing third young master of the Su family.
System: "This is an old-school tragic romance. The male and female leads keep breaking up and getting back together, loving each other so intensely they'd rather die. The supporting female character, Ruan Zhixing, is controlled by the plot, madly in love with the male lead, Jiang Yan, and bullies the female lead. She repeatedly ends up taking a knife meant for Yan Qing, and ultimately has to bring the two of them together."
Su Xianzhi: ...
The System coaxed him: "Let's save the poor supporting female character! Every time you help her change a plot point that torments her body and heart, the shop will randomly exchange it for a precious medicinal herb. Complete the mission and you'll instantly receive a wish-granting gift pack!"
Hoping to wake up as soon as possible, Su Xianzhi finally accepted the System's rescue mission. How hard could it be to talk someone out of a dead-end romance and punish the scumbags? Easy!
So when Ruan Zhixing was about to deliver a love letter to the male lead and trigger the plot where the female supporting character bullied her, Su Xianzhi made sure the male lead spent the day stuck at home with a bad case of diarrhea, unable to go anywhere.
Later, Su Xianzhi stopped Ruan Zhixing and pulled her into his arms, looking aggrieved. "Can you stop going to see him? Look at me instead!" But in secret, he ordered the System: "Double the dose of the mind-clearing potion!"
A beautiful young lady who regained control after the plot forcibly lowered her intelligence x an arrogant third young master who became hopelessly devoted to her and was now fiercely possessive
