[Tasker: Pang Shuyu. Mission: Become the strongest sword cultivator. Deadline: Ten years. Reward for completion: Live. Failure: Die.]
Pang Shuyu: ...
Pang Shuyu stared at the transparent panel right in front of her and the world frozen around her. She had never imagined that someone like her, who didn't read novels, could one day transmigrate into a book.
Transmigrating into a book was one thing, but she had landed in a book that had only ever been mentioned by a friend. It had just one title: A Sword to Shatter the World.
With no other choice, Pang Shuyu accepted the mission. After cultivating diligently for half a year, she went down the mountain to gain experience. She never expected that on her very first outing, she would casually save a handsome, delicate, badly wounded man. She planned to send him home once he had recovered.
But when Li Yanqing had finally healed, Pang Shuyu offered to see him off, only for him to refuse.
With tear-filled eyes brimming with affection, Li Yanqing gazed at Pang Shuyu and spoke in a pitiful, anxious voice: "A Yu, do you think I'm not pitiable enough anymore, so you don't want to care about me? Are you going to take pity on someone else instead?"
Faced with this scene, Pang Shuyu held her sword and looked into his tearful eyes. Her cool, composed brows furrowed, and for a moment she was speechless.
Li Yanqing's gaze stayed glued to her. Usually, the strange, pleasant fragrance that seemed to come from him would drift into her nose and mind, inexplicably leaving Pang Shuyu at a loss.
Looking at him again, Pang Shuyu really did feel that he was rather pitiful. She couldn't help comforting him, and in the end, the matter of leaving was dropped.
Much later, by a stroke of luck, Pang Shuyu entered an ancient secret realm. Before going in, she had finally managed to soothe the man who had been following her, persuading him to stay outside and wait, his tears still threatening to fall.
Unexpectedly, just after she defeated a monster and leveled up in the secret realm, the world suddenly froze again, and she returned to the real world. Before she could enjoy herself for two days, she was forcibly summoned back to the book world.
Pang Shuyu collapsed as soon as she arrived. When she awoke, she had barely had time to be happy to see Li Yanqing before he gently yet forcefully held her captive in his arms. As he poured out his passionate love, she watched helplessly as he planted a secret technique of the Hehuan Sect on both of them: Two Hearts as One.
One shock after another caught Pang Shuyu completely unprepared. Before she could break free, Two Hearts as One had already taken effect.
Li Yanqing lowered his head and buried it in the hollow of her neck, kissing her. Their fingers interlaced as tears of excitement and pain fell from his eyes. He coaxed her softly: "A Yu, A Yu, you love me. You have to love me."
"You... I-I-I love you..."
A cold-outside, warm-inside, wooden sword cultivator × a gloomy, scheming, lovesick green-tea type

Reader's Notes
1. One-on-one romance, both leads' first time, happy ending.
2. Romance only, no other plot. A conventional story of redemption. The heroine is cool and kind-hearted, and cares only about getting stronger. The hero is not harmless. He is very good at acting pitiful, vulnerable, and tearful in front of the heroine. He doesn't care if he hurts himself, as long as he can win the most of her attention and love.

Yan: There is no obligation not to be trapped by love
Is it that kind of fantasy, the kind that shows people what they want most and then lures them to stay?
