Ye Yan is a nightmare spirit, and lately he feels like everything is going wrong.

As a child, he couldn't control his powers. Wherever Ye Yan went, nightmares spread and chaos followed. To escape the "Curator" hunting him, he fled his hometown in the middle of the night.

After finally returning home as an adult, he found that everything had changed in the seventy years he'd been gone. During his first week back, he nearly starved to death in his human disguise because he couldn't find a job.

But it wasn't all bad. Ye Yan turned to look at the bookstore manager behind the counter, a man who could only be described as handsome, no matter how you looked at him.

If not for all this, how could he have met a kind and gentle little bookstore manager, so unlike the terrifying and cold-blooded "Curator"?

Zhong Yishu is an administrator, and lately he feels like everything is going wrong.

Although people respectfully call him the "Curator," Zhong Yishu has no interest in managing those dangerous people. After seventy years, he could finally have retired and gone back to run a little bookstore. But then the "Nightmare," who had caused bloodshed seventy years ago, suddenly reappeared and dragged a group of ordinary people into the affair.

But it wasn't all bad. Zhong Yishu lifted his head and looked toward the employee standing by the bookshelves, who was unquestionably handsome, no matter how you looked at him.

If not for all this, how could he have met such an obedient and adorable little shop assistant, so unlike the nasty and detestable "Nightmare"?
