When the Hero Pledged Himself to a Beast

Alva, who was terminally ill and had already resigned himself to retirement, was suddenly summoned to another world. Before he could recover from the shock, he was classified as a defective and locked in an iron cage.

Defectives could only end up as food for beasts.

Looking at the dazzling title above his head, Alva thought: Ah, in that case, I might as well go join the beasts.

In a pitch-black castle, a pale hand tugged at the silver chain it held. After a few quiet coughs, the beast whimpered anxiously, but didn't dare speak.

Once the coughing stopped, a vivid flush tinged the man's lips. He parted them.

"Be good."
