[A silly, fun story. Gin isn't incompetent or constantly getting the short end of the stick]

Gin died because the club he swung at a certain detective rebounded and hit him on the head.

Fortunately, fate was on his side (?). One hour after dying, he came back to life in the body of a teenager who had died just five minutes earlier. Then he looked up and found himself staring into the eyes of Amuro Tooru, who was examining the corpse.

Gin was so agitated that he spat up a mouthful of blood, while Amuro Tooru staggered back in shock and hit the doorframe.

Then the two of them were hauled away together in the wailing ambulance that came rushing over.

From that day on, Gin's life began heading in a completely inexplicable direction.

He nearly got hit by a car while out, and the driver turned out to be the culprit Detective Kudo was pursuing.

Someone poisoned his takeout, and the culprit was a neighbor with face blindness who had originally planned to kill his own younger brother.

He called Vermouth from a public phone booth, and the line happened to be tapped. The distillery's branch nearly got wiped out in one fell swoop.

Even staying home quietly wasn't safe. He could find a valuable gem left behind by Kaito Kid, then nearly get hit in the head by a soccer ball kicked his way by a certain detective...

In the end, Amuro Tooru and Kudo got credit for everything, the culprits were set for life, and the world was left with only Gin getting hurt.

The distillery's conscience: ...Damn it!

Then he reposted it to the lucky koi circle for protection from misfortune.

Whenever Gin got into trouble, Amuro Tooru was always the first person to show up, either rescuing a "beauty" or on his way to rescue one.

Gin suspected he had an ulterior motive, and Amuro proved it with actions.

That's right, he did have an ulterior motive.

Amuro Tooru: "I want you."

Gin: "You're a dirtbag."
