Meme Contamination

[The term "meme" first appeared in The Selfish Gene, a book by the renowned British scientist Richard Dawkins. It refers to "something that, in the transmission of language, ideas, beliefs, and behavior, plays a role analogous to that of genes in biological evolution."

Memetics is a new theory that explains the principles of cultural evolution from a Darwinian perspective. It refers to thoughts or ideas that spread among people through imitation in the cultural sphere, passing from one generation to the next.

Memes are like viruses: they can infect the human brain and change people's behavior, driving them to promote the pattern. Once someone takes the lead in doing something, others will consciously or unconsciously imitate them and spread it. This creates the meme phenomenon of "repeating what others say" and "doing what others do." ]

It's simply the story of an unknown person struggling to hold the line for humanity.

Please note: Inspired by rule-based horror stories, but this is not a Lovecraftian world. The whole story focuses solely on the theme of memes. Any similarities in the setting are purely coincidental.

P.S. Updates whenever inspiration strikes.

Theme: The hymn of humanity is the hymn of courage.
