After I Started Dating My White-Moonlight Cat by Contract

[Entering VIP on August 24. VIP chapters start at Chapter 23. Thanks for supporting the official release!] Lang Yeshen has always remembered Shi Yu. More accurately, he's always had his eye on him... Shi Yu was Lang Yeshen's high school deskmate. His beastkin genes were those of a kitten, but his beast form developed slowly. He was tiny, with patchy fur, and always sat silently in a corner of the classroom. Lang Yeshen's beastkin genes were those of a gray wolf, a natural enemy of cats. Even a slight approach would send those soft-voiced little things running with their fur standing on end. But he loved petting cats, and being unable to get his hands on one left him terribly frustrated. Later, he picked up a little stray and finally got his fill of petting cats. But stray cats were hard to tame, and after a week the little stray ran away. Lang Yeshen was furious. Then he happened to notice that the cat ears of Shi Yu, the quiet nobody in his class, were exactly like his little stray's! So he became Shi Yu's deskmate. Their everyday classroom routine went like this: Wolf: "Hey! Stick out your paw. Let me squeeze it." Cat: "I'm taking notes." Wolf: "Just your left paw, for five minutes... no, three. I brought you dried fish..." Shi Yu doesn't know why Lang Yeshen dropped out and suddenly disappeared from his life. He didn't even get the chance to confess his feelings. Then, eight years later, while seeking investors for a research project, he runs into that unfaithful wolf again. Wolf: "I'll invest! Come home with me and let me pet you for a year. How about it?" Lion: "Keeping me? You make it sound so elegant. There's no need." Wolf: "So, is that a yes?" Lion: "Deal." It sounds like a scumbag top and a masochistic bottom kind of story... Shi Yu sets down his coffee cup and thinks with a smile: He forgot to tell his sugar daddy that he underwent a second evolution in college. He's still a cat, just a little bigger. That night. Big Gray Wolf: "Awooo, what the hell! Don't come near me!" Cougar: "Come on, Xiao Chen. Come over and pet the cat." [Self-righteous gray wolf bottom with a constant stream of outrageous schemes] x [Black-bellied big cat top who pretends to be a cat to eat the wolf] P.S.: 1. A sweet little story. The school-life portion is about one-third of the novel. The leads are each other's first and only. 2. Set in a fictional beastfolk world. The school, society, and research elements include original worldbuilding. Please don't read if that bothers you. [April 18, 2022. In his more than twenty years, he's only lost his temper once, and that one time he kicked his ex-boyfriend straight into the hospital. His ex had a white moonlight he couldn't have, so he used Lu Qi as a substitute. The white moonlight is supposedly gentle and kind. Even his name sounds soft and sweet, like a Mary Sue heroine. Lu Qi is eighty percent like him: thirty percent in looks and fifty percent in temperament. That is, until Lu Qi finally meets the legendary white moonlight. The man sits where light and shadow meet, with a handsome profile and a tall, straight build. His long legs are crossed, the top two buttons of his black shirt undone, and his fringe falls over his brows and eyes. When he looks up, his long, narrow eyes are foxlike, reflecting the bar's dazzling, chaotic lights. Lu Qi hesitates for a long time. When the scumbag goes to the bathroom, he carefully walks over and warns the man that there might be something wrong with the drink he just had. The white moonlight props his chin on one hand and smiles. His captivating eyes look Lu Qi up and down. "Is that so? He tampered with my drink?" Lu Qi blinks. They don't look alike at all. The scumbag must have something wrong with his eyes. The white moonlight walks straight toward the scumbag. Lu Qi notices he's half a head taller than him. Then the supposedly helpless white moonlight lifts his long leg and kicks the scumbag in the waist, sending him flying. Well, Lu Qi thinks, they do have something in common: they both kicked the scumbag in the same spot. As a teenager, Mu Nanqiao disguised himself as a little white rabbit to protect himself. He pretended to be gentle, kind, and soft. He watched coldly as some idiot used despicable methods to get close to the disguised him, all the while thinking himself deeply devoted. How could such a pure soul possibly exist in this world? But the idiot really did find one. And then he brought that person right to Mu Nanqiao. Except he wasn't a little rabbit. He was a little deer, with clear eyes. He could get angry and throw a fit, and butt people with his little antlers. Too cute. Mu Nanqiao runs his tongue over his canine teeth, wanting to carry the little deer back to his fox den. [Substitute bottom] x [White moonlight top] [Reading Guide] 1. Both leads are each other's first and only. Readers, please note that the bottom is the soft and adorable type, not a strong-couple pairing! 2. The top and bottom don't look alike. The scumbag is blind. [August 11, 2022. Screenshot saved] Theme: Stay true to yourself, bravely hold on to who you are, love life, and never give up hope.
