Seven years after Wen Zhou and Lu Yunli broke up, they meet again at a class reunion.

Lu Yunli: "Long time no see."

In their second year of high school, Wen Zhou is assigned to Lu Yunli's class after the arts and sciences split. There, he runs into Sheng Tiantian, his childhood friend and frequent nemesis from elementary school.

Sheng Tiantian grabs Wen Zhou and whispers mysteriously, "I like Lu Yunli."

One day, Sheng Tiantian doesn't bring any milk.

Lu Yunli: "Wen Zhou, where's my milk?"

Wen Zhou: "Go ask Sheng Tiantian."

Lu Yunli: "?"

Wen Zhou: "?"

After a breakup, Sheng Tiantian sits on the track and cries. Wen Zhou is summoned in the middle of the night to comfort her, and she clings to him, sobbing uncontrollably.

Their homeroom teacher crouches behind them with a sinister smile. "Sheng Tiantian!!! Well, I've finally caught you! I’m going to find out which class your secret boyfriend is in. What's your name? I’m going to talk to your homeroom teacher... Wen Zhou???"

Sheng Tiantian sniffles: "Teacher, he’s not my boyfriend."

Teacher: "Stop making excuses! You’re hugging like that, and you expect me to believe you’re just close friends?"

Wen Zhou: ...

The homeroom teacher flies into a rage: "Call your parents!!!"

At first:

Wen Zhou: "I'm just a tool helping my best friend find love."

Later:

Sheng Tiantian: "Turns out I was the biggest fool all along."
