That year, the peonies in Chang'an bloomed brilliantly, clustered together and coloring half the sky red.
Green waters encircled the city, and flowers bloomed everywhere.
After I married, I rarely went out.
When I first got married, my husband knew how much I loved peonies. He went out to the suburbs himself and planted a few in the courtyard, so I wouldn't have to travel so far and could see their red blooms whenever I wished.
But strangely, they haven't bloomed much this year. I think I'll change my clothes and go to the suburbs to admire the peonies.
And, while I'm at it, look for my husband.
Theme: A married couple treating each other with respect and being deeply devoted to one another
I heard it's going to be pretty brutal later on, I'm looking forward to it!
