The Little Chef of the Northern Song

Lin Xiaodai transmigrates to the Northern Song dynasty. She starts out with nothing but a butcher's knife. Later, she makes her way to the capital, Bianjing, and opens the city's number-one restaurant. Su Shi travels a thousand miles to ask her to make him a bowl of Dongpo pork, then personally gives it his seal of approval: “Absolutely delicious!” Wang Anshi gets in line himself and even pulls rank to ask to cut in. Mi Fu's calligraphy is worth a fortune, and he writes the restaurant's menu in ink. Lin Xiaodai doesn't even bother looking up while she bones meat as these famous figures shower her with praise. “Raise the prices. Double them again.” All she cares about is making money.
