Synopsis
Fan Lan, a nobody of an entertainer, never imagined he'd become famous like this.
On a variety show, a diary he'd written at fourteen was read aloud on a livestream, humiliating him in front of everyone.
Because in the diary, his friend, an excellent actor who was always relegated to supporting roles, had become a thousand-year-old fox demon...
And an actor who was once hugely popular but later got blacklisted had become a snowman spirit...
Most absurd of all, a genius singer who had drowned himself at sea had become a legendary mermaid...
In no time, Fan Lan became universally recognized online as a terminal case of adolescent delusions.
"Hahahaha, so desperate to be famous that he claims he acted alongside a fox demon!"
"A snowman spirit? What an overactive imagination!"
"The mermaid diva has been dead for ages. Stop exploiting the deceased!"
Fan Lan thought it was all just a wonderful fantasy of his. But after his diary was exposed, all his friends found him...
Fox demon friend: Did my tail give me away?
Snowman friend: Is that why you gave me such a huge fridge?
Mermaid friend: I can't believe you found out after all!
Fan Lan: "???"
Those delusions he had as a teenager... were they actually real???
While the entire internet mocked Fan Lan, the people who appeared in his diary all posted on Weibo at the same time.
And so, netizens unexpectedly witnessed the fluffy tail of a fox demon, a snowman spirit making it snow with a wave of its hand, and a mermaid singing...
The door to a new world slowly opened before the public, and Fan Lan seemed to be the one holding the key between the two worlds.
The entire internet apologized to Fan Lan.
"Holy crap?! Everything in Fan Lan's diary was actually true?"
"No way, Fan Lan wasn't writing delusional fiction, he was writing nonfiction?!"
"We wronged Fan Lan. Turns out he's helped so many nonhuman beings!"
Meanwhile, as Fan Lan watched more and more demons show up at his door asking for help, he fell into deep thought.
All he wanted was to have fun helping demons. How had he somehow become more and more famous?

Upcoming Novel Synopsis
Refusing a Million a Day, the Top-Tier Star Just Wants to Go to School
Chu Jie, an all-around research fanatic, transmigrates into a talentless idol with nine years of compulsory education, hated by the entire internet.
By the logic of a wish-fulfillment novel, after transmigrating, he should use his academic expertise to face-slap everyone on the spot and become a sensation.
Instead,
Chu Jie tears up the script and posts a statement that same night, quitting the entertainment industry: "You're right. Learning never ends. I need to keep studying."
He spent his previous life scraping by to fund his academic research, so he knows better than anyone how it feels to be broke. He can't hack it in an entertainment industry where someone can earn 2.08 million a day just by using their good looks to build a persona.
*
After leaving show business, Chu Jie resolves to avoid the spotlight and study whatever nobody else wants to study.
For example... funeral studies.
However, he never expected the internship diary he jotted down to be named the year's most moving piece of writing, bringing hundreds of thousands of people to tears.
As a result, the following year, enrollment in funeral studies topped one hundred thousand, more than ten times the previous number!
Then he transferred to paleontology, a poor and grueling field that required digging in the dirt.
He never expected that the vlog he casually filmed at a dinosaur graveyard would get over a hundred million views, scaring people more than a horror movie.
That year, donations to the research institute topped one hundred million yuan, and even the neighboring country, desperate to steal its research results, grew green with envy over its state-of-the-art equipment!
Later, Chu Jie helped countless fields gain popularity, and more and more fans called him an "academic idol."
Chu Jie, forced to become a top-tier star all over again: ...
All I wanted was to study!
*
In the high-altitude, barren lands of the Himalayas, he leads his team in planting hope with tea [Tea Science].
In a border town shrouded in fog, he investigates alone and matches wits with a genius criminal [Juvenile Criminal Psychology].
In a treacherous deep-sea canyon, he and hundreds of scholars work together to safeguard the nation's energy resources [Green Energy].
Loneliness, being misunderstood, and a lack of funding are the norm for scholars in obscure fields.
They persevere out of passion, inching forward through hardship, isolated and alone.
After Chu Jie arrives, they are finally seen.
Theme: Only serious effort leads to achievement
I saw a review before that said the ending was bad, and the plot is indeed a little different, but I feel that this is the best ending of this book. It is like a dream, and everything returns to its original point at the end.
Maybe this is just a dream of the male protagonist or maybe this is a parallel world, at least at that moment they really existed.
Did you really cry to death at the ending?
The writing is actually quite attractive, but it is already very strange from the time you travel back in time. Because you have traveled so many times, the experiences of each character will change every time. The protagonists are known to each other for a while, and they are not recognized for a while. The timeline is also very confusing. Anyway, the reader is confused. It is one of the more confusing novels I have ever read.
Just like a big dream, a yellow beam dream
Although it feels like the ending is a bit too fast, I also feel that this ending is the best.
The front part is okay, but the back part is a little stiff, and some holes are not filled in, such as the jade pendant mentioned at the beginning, the disappearance of people around the protagonist, and the explanation of the messenger. In addition, there is the issue of the timeline. Many things after time travel are not explained clearly.
It feels like the world view is too big to write and has a rushed ending.
Ok

It really sucks! (-"-Angry) The protagonist controls not to watch!!!
At first I thought the copywriting was good, but in the end it didn't feel that exciting at all. The protagonist is obviously Fan Lan, but in the end it was his three friends who took off! !
It was barely acceptable at first, but in the end, all three friends left, leaving the protagonist alone (??д??) And the description of the protagonist being lonely made me vomit.
Having a savings of over 100 million does not mean you have financial freedom. . . . .
