Please add my new story, The Seven Zeroes: One Clueless Family, to your reading list!
After waking up, a little radish spirit discovers that she has become a newborn baby.
She faces a huge challenge from the moment she is born.
Her biological father is a hypocrite, outwardly upright and honorable, but rotten to the core.
Her biological mother is a schemer, seemingly weak and harmless, but actually skilled at sowing discord.
Yet these two people, each with schemes as deep as the sea, are so caught up in the personas they present to each other that they can't help but wholeheartedly defend one another, afraid the other might be bullied.
Jin Xiaojiu worries every day that if her parents' true natures are exposed, she'll end up a child of divorce. Even sunbathing distracts her, and digging in the dirt isn't fun anymore.
But that's not the most important thing. The most important thing is that she discovers her family is the absolute worst in a period drama.
All three of them are awful.
Jin Xiaojiu: ...I'm not surprised at all, except that I'm not awful myself.
And the protagonists of this book are her adoptive brother and sister, who have been reborn and are bent on revenge, their eyes fixed on her with a sinister gaze.
Because their revenge is aimed at her whole family.
Now she has to worry not only that her parents will reveal their true natures and divorce, but also that her adoptive brother and sister might suddenly turn evil and stab her in the back.
Jin Xiaojiu: Life is hard. The radish sighs.
Coming soon: The Seven Zeroes: One Clueless Family
When apocalypse powerhouse Qiao Shuben transmigrates, she becomes the foil in a period drama.
The woman who could kill a zombie with one punch has become a beautiful fool with no brains, barely scraping by with zero marks. She makes a striking contrast to the capable heroine, who leads her whole family to prosperity.
The heroine is smart and capable, able to handle every task at home and outside. She's been the village's most competent person since childhood, and she leads her family through difficult times, building up capital before going into business after the country opens up and becoming the richest woman around.
Meanwhile, Qiao Shuben is the cautionary example in the book.
She has nothing but a beautiful face and no ambition. Though her family's circumstances are among the best in the village, she eventually marries an ordinary man, settles down in the countryside, and lives an ordinary life.
Qiao Shuben, who has always looked down on beautiful fools, watches the heroine struggle to eat dry, scratchy cornmeal cakes, then looks at the fragrant eggs in sweet syrup and rice porridge her grandmother feeds her.
Well, this is delicious.
If she's going to be a beautiful fool, so be it.
The thing is...
She looks at her biological father, the only son in his family, who's in his twenties but can't carry a load or lift a finger, and has to call his parents to replace the shed roof. All he has going for him is his face.
Then she looks at her biological mother, the only daughter in her family, who's in her twenties but can't even sweep the floor or cook a meal.
Qiao Shuben falls into deep thought.
So they're a family of fools?
Theme: Learn to see the beauty in the world
It's over. Ever since Xiaojiu wanted them to get together as a couple, I had acquiesced in my heart.
I really like how the author has written Xiao Jiu's character.
I just want to say to the siblings, look at this person, tsk tsk
I really like the way the author describes life, it's very warm and lifelike.
The "sound" caught the author a big bug~ doctor
Do you like the heroine's temperament?
"I'll definitely come back" is a big bug for the author~
