---Advance notice: I'm Raising National Treasures at the Zoo. Please add it to your reading list!---
Blurb:
Yu Li was transported to the Beastman Empire.
As soon as he woke up, he was told to go to Wasteland Star 001.
Wasteland Star 001 was a sinister planet the people of the empire refused to mention.
Legend said it was home to a demon king who would destroy the empire.
Yu Li: I'm a little scared.
But the moment he stepped off the spaceship,
he stepped on a mermaid cub.
The mermaid glared fiercely and bit down on his hand.
Yu Li met the mermaid's round eyes and couldn't help laughing.
Hey, hey, let go! Your little baby teeth are about to fall out!
Right after that, he found one after another on the wasteland:
A silly little penguin, a shy little puppy, a bird with a broken wing...
A whole crowd of little ones.
Yu Li petted them one by one.
This is it? The wasteland where the great demon king lives?
Just watch him turn it into a joyful home for raising cubs!
After all, he even has the library golden finger that came with him!
At first, the people of the empire were strongly opposed to everything Yu Li did.
But then someone realized that Yu Li was a lot like a certain expert in the childcare textbook.
And when they saw Yu Li stroking beastman cubs who couldn't transform into humans,
their attitudes began to change...
Eventually, every cub in his home grew up to become a big shot in the empire.
One of them even became his partner!
Yu Li also became a famous childcare expert across the stars.
He opened a galactic childcare textbook.
Huh? Why am I in here? And why do I look like my younger self?
The beastmen of the empire:
Waaah! You finally figured it out! Adorable Yu Li, come pet us!
Can we open Star 001 as the nation's cub-rearing base now?
The former Demon King of the Wasteland, the mermaid:
Hah? Keep dreaming!
Yu Li is mine.
---Blurb for I'm Raising National Treasures at the Zoo---
Lai He was a panda spirit who had cultivated for ten thousand years.
The moment he descended the mountain, a spaceship took him away,
to the star system where humans now lived.
With no other way to make a living,
he had to apply for a job as a zookeeper,
raising endangered national treasures: the roly-poly pandas.
He brought them bamboo shoots and bottles of milk, and played with them.
But a few youngsters kept clinging to his legs and wouldn't let go.
Annoyed, Lai He said:
I'll turn into a giant panda and scare you mischievous little bears!
Roar! ...Huh?
Why is my true form so tiny?
Where's my tall, mighty bear body?
Several little pandas swarmed him.
Like glutinous rice dumplings, they jostled against each other.
Lai He... this little panda
couldn't beat a few little bear cubs at all!
The big shot in a wheelchair next door
watched silently through the glass.
After a long while, he turned into a huge leopard, leaped inside,
buried his face in Lai He's belly, and took a deep sniff!
The whole nation was watching the livestream:
Emergency! I want to sniff the panda cub too!
There's an unclaimed panda here. I saw it, so it's mine!
Help, the zookeeper is so cute! I want him to take care of me!
Gradually, Lai He realized that things were getting more and more suspicious!
It wasn't just the crowds of netizens camping out to watch the pandas.
Even when the cubs pooped little green rice cakes, people praised them!
And the other animals in the zoo
were looking at him with increasingly fiery eyes!
On top of that, the number of little animals he found outside who pretended to be hurt so he'd take them in kept growing!
He heard that over ten thousand people were lining up to see the panda cubs.
So why were they all looking at him like that?
Growing more and more uneasy, Lai He hurried to save money.
As soon as he had enough, he'd take a spaceship back to his old home on Earth!
The three little bear cubs hugged his legs and kept making little noises.
The genius panda researcher: You can't leave. You touched me, so you have to take responsibility.
The gorgeous peacock superstar: Hm? Wherever you go, I'll follow.
The lop-eared rabbit writer: Waaah, if you leave, I'll write your character to death!
The usually silent marshal turned into a leopard, grabbed him in his jaws, and ran off.
Lai He: Wait, where did all of you come from?
Everyone: We're the animals you took care of...and kissed.
Everyone, again: Wait, who did Lai He kiss?
A certain marshal: Sorry. He kissed me.
Theme: Grow in love and be brave and fearless.
I've finished reading it, it's a very warm and interesting article. But I still want to make some suggestions. It's just that some of the fragments are very abrupt. For example, Wusi tells a story about herself at school, and then the next chapter suddenly changes to another scene. There are several paragraphs like this, especially in the second half of the book, where there are many sudden changes. But overall it's still okay, I just hope that those irregularities can be filled in.
The last few chapters are really poorly written. They always change situations suddenly and end before they finish. I saw someone in the comments mentioned this four months ago, and the author hasn't changed it yet.
It was quite interesting, but the last chapter felt too rushed, and the characters had one or two typos in their names.
The ending seemed a bit rushed, and it felt like it ended without any clear explanation.
No, what Xiong Si'er said was too dramatic. Hahahahaha
No, why did it end so suddenly? It was so rushed.
This clearly shows that the principal used illegal drugs, such as stimulants, on these cubs.
Updated, open it and take a look for a while, eh? No more... That's it?
Six hours! I also want such working hours, crying
It's a damn lifespan problem, but I still wish Plautus a happy birthday~
