A Young Doctor in Song Dynasty Streets

Medical student Zhu Ying transmigrates into the body of a frail little girl, the youngest daughter of a poor family in ancient times. At five, she still can't speak. The Zhu couple are afraid their little girl will be bullied, so they take her along whenever they go out to work. When Zhu Ying is two, her mother carries her through the streets while selling snacks, and she grows used to the bustle of the marketplace; At four, she accompanies her father as he sets out at dawn to fish, seeing merchants come and go along the river; At five, her sister-in-law teaches her to sew, but her needle pricks her fingers instead of the cloth. The old doctor at the medicine shop next door teases, "Oh my, your daughter would make a fine acupuncture student!" A mischievous child from the neighborhood cuts in as Zhu Ying hurries over. "The little mute is so silly. Don't teach her, teach me instead." Zhu Ying doesn't want to learn her mother's trade, but she doesn't want to learn embroidery either. Clenching her little fists, she speaks for the first time: "I'm not silly." After shouting, Zhu Ying gazes expectantly at the old doctor: Teach me, I'm super good! ~ Theme: Keep your feet on the ground and earn money to support your family!
