Blurb:
Ning Zihao recently got into an old-fashioned ancient-era household servant simulator, a classic game with extensive freedom, lots to collect, and a complete story.
As soon as he entered the game, he was assigned as a servant to the least favored young master of the Fu family. He discovered that his in-game home, no, the young master's ramshackle little house, was in terrible shape. Can you believe the roof leaked whenever it rained?
So he spent a few days grinding away, and eventually made the shack just about livable.
He lounged comfortably in a reclining chair, fishing in the newly dug lotus pond with his rod.
Inside, little Fu Yunwei opened the newly papered ebony window. Is this construction worker about to leave?
Ning Zihao collected the meals for master and servant from the kitchen. They were just spoiled vegetables and coarse rice. He angrily flung them aside.
He stormed home, built a kitchen, grabbed a rice ladle, and cooked four dishes and a soup.
Little Fu Yunwei returned from school, covering the wound on his face. But when he stepped inside, he saw a table laden with steaming food, not the leftover scraps that had always been so hard to swallow.
Ning Zihao had just set out the bowls and chopsticks. He greeted him warmly: “Oh, my adorable young master, come eat!”
Little Fu Yunwei stared blankly. “The repairs are finished. Why haven't you left, craftsman?”
“Leave?” Ning Zihao asked in surprise. He walked over, bent down, and smiled. “Young master, I'm your new servant. We'll be living together for a long time.”
“I was so busy building the house that I forgot to introduce myself.” Ning Zihao rubbed his head sheepishly.
A wonderful start to the game.
Later, Ning Zihao, wearing a phoenix robe, perched atop the palace gate and howled, “You ungrateful brat! I raised you like my own son, and now you want to get with me! I won't be your empress! You'll never get your way!”
Below the wall, Fu Yunwei stood in his court robes, chin raised, and answered in a gentle voice, “All right. I'll do as you wish. Then we won't hold a wedding ceremony.”
Ning Zihao's hand trembled. “Write it down and sign it!”
