1) Fu Siming is the only son of the Fu family and runs the Fu Group. He's also the city's famous young-married dreamboat.
Anyone who has met the couple knows that although President Fu is extremely cold toward other women, he's every bit the devoted husband. He always keeps Sheng Wanxing by his side and never spares any expense on lavish gifts.
Whenever another man tries to court Sheng Wanxing, a single glance from Fu Siming is enough to make him back off.
Who could have guessed that less than a year after their marriage, news suddenly broke that Fu Siming had decided to divorce?
When Sheng Wanxing left the Fu family, plenty of people watched, eager to see her humiliated.
They said she had been so glamorous as Mrs. Fu, and now she was so pathetic.
Later, the world's most expensive pink diamond appeared at an auction.
Fu Siming rarely made public appearances, so his presence immediately piqued the reporters' curiosity.
Asked why he was there, Fu Siming admitted, "My wife loves diamonds most. I hope to use this to ask for her forgiveness."
Everyone was stunned.
But in the end, an anonymous online bidder bought the diamond for an astronomical price.
The next day, Sheng Wanxing posted a photo of herself wearing the pink diamond on social media, with the caption:
[You don't have to buy it for me. I have money, bitch!]
2) The young master of the Su family, Su Yi, took over the family business at a young age. He'd always been called a "natural-born talent," but his spoiled, rebellious nature made him the least liked by his elders, despite his good looks and education.
Among the rich young men he associated with, he couldn't stand Fu Siming, and he couldn't stand his woman either.
In his eyes, Sheng Wanxing was a lovesick fool who knew nothing but "my husband," with nothing going for her but her beauty.
At the banquet, Sheng Wanxing arrived arm in arm with Fu Siming, radiating charm with every gesture and instantly becoming the center of attention.
Someone asked Su Yi, "Ordinary girls can't catch your eye. What about Mrs. Fu?"
Su Yi gave a disdainful scoff. "I don't like stupid women."
Back then, he had no idea that one day he'd risk everything just to take Sheng Wanxing away.
