The moon secretly loves a star,

1) Qin Langyue had been secretly in love with her senior, Shen Yi, for years.
In her eyes, Shen Yi was an unreachable star, perfect in every way. They were worlds apart.
Friend A: But you're a taekwondo black belt...
Qin Langyue: That's nothing.
And so what if she knew taekwondo?
She was afraid of ghosts...
During summer vacation, her classmates talked her into going to a haunted house.
When she was scared out of her wits, her instincts kicked in and she gave an NPC a textbook shoulder throw.
The tall, burly "ghost" spent several minutes recovering on the floor before struggling to say two words into his walkie-talkie: "Help me..."
Qin Langyue never imagined that the "ghost" with long hair and a face covered in white makeup would turn out to be Shen Yi.
If only she'd known. She'd rather have been scared to death than give her crush a shoulder throw.
2) There's been a rumor going around Jianghua University lately: Qin Langyue, the tomboy from the taekwondo club, beat up the campus heartthrob.
Qin Langyue mustered up the courage to apologize to Shen Yi. Seeing her standing there obediently, looking so nervous and timid, a complete contrast to the girl who had "beaten him up," he couldn't help curling his lips into a smile.
"So, classmate, are you afraid of ghosts, or are you afraid of me?"
3) To get closer to her crush, Qin Langyue summoned all her courage and decided to work part-time at the haunted house.
On her first day, Shen Yi saw her standing in front of a mirror with her eyes shut as she put on a wig. Unable to hold back a laugh, he reached out to help her.
As he gently brushed her hair aside, he asked with a smile, "You're quite an interesting person. If you're afraid of ghosts, why work here?"
Qin Langyue looked at him earnestly. "I'm afraid someone will hit you, so I came to protect you."
Shen Yi laughed again. "Who else would hit me besides you?"
He had such a lovely smile, his eyes glittering like stars.
Qin Langyue's little face immediately turned bright red with embarrassment, and she didn't dare look at him again.
For Shen Yi's sake, she summoned her courage and went into the darkness first.
As she felt her way along the wall, trembling, she saw the man stride ahead of her and tuck the hem of his shirt into her hand.
He said, "Let me protect you instead."
