Content warning: This story takes place in a parallel world! The timeline is different too, so please keep that in mind while reading!!!

Kanzaki Fuyuki had been living an ordinary, peaceful life and thought he would go on like that forever. Who could have guessed that one day he would suddenly be told he was under a curse and close to death?

Then, for some inexplicable reason, he got sucked into a game, saddled with a rather unreliable System, and landed in a bizarre cult.

System: What's our motto? Work hard, keep going, and head toward a bright future! Yeah!

Kanzaki Fuyuki: ...Can I quit?

Just as he finally got the hang of things in the cult, Kanzaki Fuyuki realized he had suddenly gained a partner whose motives seemed questionable.

Kanzaki Fuyuki: ...Maybe I should quit after all. I really can't keep doing this job.

System: Honestly, I'd also like to know how my Host managed to go from a survival simulator to making a comeback as a cult leader, then switch over to a management game.

Kanzaki Fuyuki: (looking away) Um...
