The Possibility of Becoming an Ordinary Flower Shop Owner

[The protagonist's character hasn't been written well, and the story is being revised. I'll post it all together later.] Lin Ze's plan was simple: after retiring, he'd find a quiet place and open a flower shop. But after living there for a while and encountering strange incidents more times than he could count, he realized the place he'd chosen wasn't quiet at all. Before Lin Ze could move away, though, he fell into the hands of the kid from the neighboring family he'd known years ago. Two years after being "killed," Lin Ze successfully faked his death to escape trouble and opened another flower shop, where he could enjoy a quiet life. Then he saw that familiar face again, along with an application form in the other person's hand. The man smiled at him and waved the form. "I'm here to apply for the job." Excerpt 1 One day, Lin Ze realized that no matter where he went, he always saw the same familiar face, accompanied by the same words. Geto Suguru: "Fancy seeing you here." Lin Ze clutched his secret identity close and walked around him without a second thought. Yet the next day, he ran into the same person again, in a different place. After several failed attempts to avoid him, Lin Ze, who had some unknown motive of his own, simply gave up pretending and decided to join his group. Excerpt 2 A massive explosion rang out, and the crowd around them erupted in screams. The boy standing amid the flames showed no trace of fear. He looked toward the man in the distance, then smiled, closed his eyes, and let the fire swallow him. In his final moments, Geto Suguru saw only the smile on the boy's face. Years later, when Geto Suguru appeared before the public again, a cursed spirit wearing a white mask stood by his side. No one had ever seen him command the spirit to fight, though. The spirit simply followed quietly at his side. 1. The male lead isn't human, but he isn't quite a cursed spirit either. 2. The author is terrible at writing blurbs, but I promise this has a happy ending! Theme: Always pay attention to the emotional well-being of those around you.
