The Blossoming Spring Festival: A Dream of Red Mansions Story

Blurb:

An accident sends her transmigrating into the world of Dream of the Red Chamber, where she becomes Jia Yingchun, the “second blockhead” beaten to death by her husband.

Her mother has just died, and her stepmother won't look after her. Just as she's about to be taken to live with Old Lady Jia, she arrives.

Yingchun looks at the handful of useless maids and servants in her quarters, then thinks of her tragic future. She can't help feeling bitter: Hang on, this is a high-difficulty dungeon. You're sending me in with nothing?

Luckily, when all hope seems lost, she stumbles upon a trading System that is disintegrating and falling apart.

Although most of this incomplete System's functions are gone, Yingchun is still overjoyed.

The reason is simple: the System's storage space and interdimensional trading function are exactly what she needs right now.

“...Trading food. No set price. Private message me.”

Yingchun stares at the shop name, which is a string of garbled characters, and at the lone, empty-looking listing on the System's trading page. For a while, she can't decide what to do.

After a long pause, she opens the private chat and tentatively types a reply to the gray avatar: [One jin of food for one liang of silver!]

System notification: [The other party has sent you a trade link. Please complete the transaction as soon as possible.]

Yingchun's breath catches, and her eyes widen: ...This actually works!

Only after the trade is complete and a golden bracelet appears in her hand does she snap out of her daze and burst into laughter.

“...This golden finger is way too powerful.”

At that very moment, someone in the apocalypse world is just as excited.

Seeing a packet of pastries wrapped in fine cloth appear on the ground, the woman crouches down and picks up a piece of hibiscus cake. She shoves it into her mouth and eats through her tears.
