Students Should Act Like Students

Few people know that the once wildly popular actress Xue Chenchen was a rebellious girl in high school. With her bold, unruly brown curls, she feared nothing, least of all having her parents called in. The only person who could make her nervous was Li Zhiheng, the new student teacher and homeroom teacher.

Li Zhiheng was Xue Chenchen's worst nightmare.

On his first day, he made her straighten her hair and buy black hair ties so she could wear it in a ponytail.

On his second day, he assigned her a three-thousand-character self-criticism for not wearing her uniform, arriving late, and all her other shortcomings.

Then, looking at the girl, now neat from head to toe, Li Zhiheng kept a stern face. "Not bad. A student should look like a student."

Everyone knows Xue Chenchen has always been haughty, hot-tempered, and not someone to mess with.

While filming a major Qing dynasty palace drama, the production invited Professor Li Zhiheng, a history professor at X University, to coach the actors on etiquette.

One day, Professor Li reprimanded the actress for getting a movement wrong. Everyone thought Xue was about to blow up and declare she was done filming for the day. Instead, the actress reined in her temper and spent a while studying seriously off to the side. Fidgeting with the corner of her clothes, she asked in a quiet voice, "Teacher Li, am I doing it right?"

The man raised his eyes slightly and glanced at her only briefly. "No. Go practice again."

Xue Chenchen instinctively lowered her head. "All right, Teacher Li."

Everyone thought the man was doomed. But Xue Chenchen really did go practice earnestly, muttering as she went, "Damn it, I've been out of high school for ages. Why do I still have to watch his mood?"
