From Qing

Yan Che had always known what kind of person Rong Qing was.

But he was still happy to put up with her.

Years later, when they talked about it, Rong Qing was lying in bed and very much disagreed. "What kind of person am I?"

Yan Che thought for a moment, then answered.

"A very irresponsible person. You inexplicably made me your ninth ex-boyfriend."

Rong Qing: "That's because you didn't try hard enough. You weren't charming enough to keep me."

Yan Che: "???"

Later, Yan Che sincerely hoped he was number nine. He imagined that she would have other boyfriends and live a good life.

At least she'd still be alive.

A short bad-ending story.

The woman has had other partners; the man is chaste.

Theme: Death is not the end of love. Not loving is.
