Turning a Deaf Ear to What Goes on Outside the Coffin

[Turn a deaf ear to everything outside the coffin; all I want is to be reincarnated]

The protagonist isn't human, but even as a ghost, he's a charmer.

(The kind of charmer who turns heads!!)

"Blurb"

Millennium after millennium, the flowers bloom and fade across the eight hundred miles of the Yellow Springs. Su Qi is about to fish every ghost-fish in the River of Forgetfulness out of existence.

"Ghost life is long and dull. You should have something to look forward to."

"What are you looking forward to? Fishing here every day?"

"No. I want to be reincarnated and become human."

Whether human or ghost, spirit or monster, demon or devil, everyone has a past.

After death, souls return to the underworld. Flip open the Book of Life and Death, and you can learn a person's date of birth and death, their life story, and how much good and evil they did.

But Su Qi's name, life story, and dates of birth and death were nowhere to be found in the book. Nor could he be reincarnated.

With no past to call his own, Su Qi placed his hopes in the future.

He struck a deal with the Great Emperor of Fengdu. After serving for ten thousand years as acting warden of the Eighteenth Hell, punishing evil ghosts, he would be given one lifetime as a human.
