Your Excellency, Are We Still Settling the Spirit Plant Accounts?

Jin Yan, the only Tribulation Transcendence powerhouse across the Five Continents and Four Seas, was the most beautiful person in the world and had the worst temper in the world. True Person Jin had a secret everyone knew: his Dao body contained an excess of yin energy, so he needed to regularly complete a yin-yang spiritual-consciousness harmonization with someone who had a pure yang Dao body in order to break through. Young cultivators came from far and wide, trying every trick to win his favor, but none succeeded. True Person Jin was unmoved by love or desire, devoted to cultivation, and would take no Dao companion. Until one day, a young man appeared── The young man was named Lin Dan. Born with a Taotie Dao body, he needed large amounts of spirit plants to nourish himself before he could break through. Penniless and desperate, Lin Dan spotted a job listing for a gardener at Hanyu Palace. Everyone knew that True Person Jin owned a celestial mountain, the place with the richest supply of spirit plants in the world. If he could become a gardener on that mountain, he'd never have to worry about running out of spirit plants to eat again! Lin Dan wiped away his drool and hurried to apply. He got the job as a spirit-plant gardener, only to be told that gardeners were forbidden from sneaking bites of the plants. Day after day, Lin Dan stared at the luscious, ripe fruit, unable to eat any. At a loss about what to do, he accidentally stumbled upon a secret of Sect Master Jin── Inside Hanyu Palace, a peerlessly handsome man lounged on a couch and lazily raised a hand, offering a box of top-grade spirit plants to the young cultivator beside him. "Take the spirit plants and leave." The young cultivator's eyes glistened with tears. "I don't want spirit plants. You won't even spare me a little of your affection?" The man's expression was listless. "I have no affection to give. As for spirit plants, take as many as you like." Watching the young cultivator leave with a gift box of spirit plants, Lin Dan's eyes lit up! He began making frequent, eager visits to Hanyu Palace, hovering in front of True Person Jin and using his terrible acting skills to declare his adoration. At last, he got what he wanted. Summoned to the palace, Lin Dan eagerly waited for True Person Jin to go through the usual motions and send him off with a box of top-grade spirit plants. But he never expected Sect Master Jin to go back on his word and say nothing about the spirit plants, only, "From today on, you will stay in Hanyu Palace." Lin Dan was dumbfounded. He stayed in Hanyu Palace for months. Then one day, in a muddled state, he asked the question he'd been keeping bottled up: "My lord, when are you going to settle the spirit-plant bill?" Jin Yan paused. His brows and eyes turned icy in an instant. "You live in my palace for the sake of one measly spirit plant?!" The other man's cold glare made Lin Dan shiver. "N-no..." Jin Yan's expression softened a little. Then Lin Dan continued, "Not one. I kept track. You owe me... 1,314 plants in total." Before Lin Dan had even finished speaking, he heard Jin Yan's voice echo in his mind. "I have no spirit plants, but I do have one heart to give you. If you want it, take it. If you don't... I'll wait until you change your mind." Beautiful, powerful, tsundere bottom x honest, sturdy top #NaturalEnemyOfTheTsundere #OldSchoolSillySweetRomance Theme: Hard work creates a good life
