After the Dragon-Attitude Baby Held a Grudge Against Me

Ren Yang transmigrated into a power-progression novel about a domineering hero and became the cannon-fodder maternal uncle of its main character. In the original story, the hero grew up defying the heavens and earth, breezed through life with one cheat after another, and was taken back by his wealthy grandfather to become a young master of a rich family. He then gave his awful relatives a brutal taste of their own medicine. And Ren Yang had transmigrated into one of those awful relatives who got face-slapped. At this point, the hero was only five years old. He never had enough to eat or warm clothes to wear, and was scolded every day. But the wealthy grandfather never came. Instead, a wealthy uncle arrived to claim the boy. Wealthy tycoon: “I'm here to take him home.” Ren Yang handed the little one over and nodded earnestly. “All right. He's yours now.” Wealthy tycoon: “You're coming home with me too.” Ren Yang: “?” * The little hero's point of view: As the future hero, both my parents are dead, my awful relatives stole my inheritance, I'm all alone, and I even have an evil uncle! The little hero endured humiliation as he stayed by his uncle's side, silently pulling out his grudge notebook: Today Uncle forced me to eat a green vegetable. Grudge +1. The little hero filled his grudge notebook, silently holding on to every grievance and resolving to get revenge when he grew up. Unless... Unless Uncle makes me cola chicken wings tomorrow, I'm not crossing this one off! [Reader Advisory] An everyday-life story about raising kids. The love interest gets less page time than the little ones. They're a family of four, but the romance is very much in the background. Some sections are told from the twins' point of view. The little hero is malnourished early on, but later the two kids will grow to look more and more alike. The kids are precocious, little geniuses, and they don't grow up much in the story; it goes up to age six and a half. The protagonist is a first-time parent with no experience raising kids, so there will be mistakes, and the early days are tough. There is one cannon-fodder parent, one cannon-fodder teacher, and a few other oddball cannon-fodder characters. Their behavior is not meant to represent their professions or anyone else in those jobs; they're just individuals. The first four chapters feature awful relatives. If you don't want to read about them, you can skip straight to the child-raising in Chapter Five. After the story goes premium, there will be two major plot turns: summer camp and the reunion with the wealthy family. The dragon race has no pampered little brats.” The weak little one can't hunt and struggles just to survive, so all they can eat is fried chicken and fries from the human world. To keep the pampered child fed, the dragon parents finally learn to cook raw meat, and even use gold coins to make the most luxurious bed for the little one. But even then, the child still can't get used to sleeping on it. The little one lies on the bed of gold coins and silently rolls over. The bed's so hard. I can't sleep. * The Netherkin are the most mysterious of the nonhuman races. They are powerful and cold. But they have great difficulty bearing children, and no new young have been born for tens of thousands of years. Netherkin young are very fragile and prone to dying young, so they need careful attention. But now their legacy has been lost, and their race can no longer have young. The Netherkin gradually fell into slumber in the depths of the Netherworld, taking no part in the conflicts of the outside world. Until one day, a child's voice appeared in the minds of all the sleeping Netherkin spirits [I'm hungry. I want something to eat...] [I want to sleep in a bed...] Only then did the Netherkin spirits realize that one of their young had been left behind in the outside world. They tore through the void and searched one otherworld after another, until at last they found their young on Dragon Island. Their most precious child. But now their child was dressed in rags, living in a shabby cave, and gnawing on leaves. The Netherkin parents went mad on the spot. * Later, the Netherkin and the dragons went to war.
