Lu Mojin is a 23-year-old third-year college student in the 21st century, a social sciences major who has chosen to lie flat. After her dorm supervisor recommended a novel through a childhood friend, she picked up the cultivation-themed melodramatic Mary Sue novel Four Handsome Men: Who Should I Choose?
It is more or less about a heroine pursued by four handsome men from four different fields, who can't decide which one to choose, leading to a series of brainless events.
Normally, she would have dropped a novel like this long ago. But what really kept her reading was the battle of wits between the heroine and the heroine's rival, a white lotus flower junior sister who was also one of the handsome men's junior sisters. (The author only knew how to write this kind of plot like a human being.)
What could be more entertaining than scheming? Holding to this belief, Lu Mojin stayed up past midnight to finish the cringe-inducing plot. She marveled that the heroine really was the author's darling, then reflected on how truly vicious that white lotus was. For the sake of one handsome man, she even killed the sect leader who stood in her way.
But when she woke up again, she had actually become the evil white lotus's master, the very character she'd been complaining about all night! Oh my god! Yet Lu Mojin, close to tears, was astonished to discover that the white lotus had only just joined the sect. There was still time to turn things around!!!
Theme: There's still time to raise this kid right, isn't there...
