Also known as: "Good Thing My Dad's Rich"
"I Thought They All Loved Me: The Reverse Group Favorite"
Mo Chi is an assassin with poor eyesight who only takes each job once. He was born unable to tolerate bright light, but his hearing is exceptionally sharp. He can listen to the wind through a leaf and slice a drifting flower from the air, and he can scale walls and leap across rooftops with ease. He's handsome, and women support him financially. (You're amazing, so aloof, a blind man floating across the sky.) He wants to stab the heroine a few times, grab some money, and do one last job in the business. (For the money.)
Wuxin claims to be a wandering Daoist, but he's actually a con artist. (Nice work.) He says the heroine and he are bound by karma, so he needs to stay by her side to resolve it. Really, he just sees that she's rich and gullible and wants to freeload off her. Then an assassin shows up to stab her, and by a twist of fate he takes a sword for her and is badly wounded. (Isn't that karma?) He becomes the heroine's savior. (Also for the money.)
Chen Wuwei is an orphan. He killed his faithless father when he was eleven, grew up among the miasma and poisonous insects of Lingnan, and does business in spices with the heroine's father. (I thought you were going to do something wicked, but you're selling spices?) He wants to trick the heroine into marrying him and then get his hands on her father's assets. (Still for the money.)
Qi Zhuo is a prince, and there are few things in the world he can't get. Few, but there are some, such as the throne. He wants the heroine's father's support, and secretly raises troops to rebel so he can try being emperor for a day. He thinks the heroine, who would share mung bean cakes with him, is kindhearted, if a little ugly. (Still for the money.)
Man Qingtian is a born libertine. When he first met the heroine, he complimented her, saying the hibiscus in her hair made her more beautiful than a flower. (The power of words!) His background is tragic: his father died in battle, and his mother thought he had caused his death and tried to strangle him too. She even tried to gouge out his eyes with a knife, but he escaped, left with just a tiny scar. After all sorts of twists and turns, he decided that although the heroine wasn't much to look at, she was still kind of cute. But not as cute as her father's money. (Go for the money!)
Everyone is a villain except the heroine.
Yuan Xiaoxiao: Is that so? I quite like them. They're fun.
Notes:
1. The heroine is the daughter of the richest man, extremely wealthy, and pretty full of herself. She never suffers a setback throughout the story.
2. The situation is turbulent, but the heroine is completely unaware and calmly watches the drama unfold.
3. The heroine isn't that stupid and innocent; she just can't be bothered to think. After all, it's all for the money, so she watches them perform.
4. The male lead is, of course, whichever one the heroine likes best.
5. One-on-one romance in the end.
6. A fictional setting, made up from beginning to end.
7. The story's main idea: eat, drink, have fun, and watch men fight over a little money.
8. This idea came to me when I was a kid. Please ignore the weird blurb.
Theme: Face yourself and live happily.
