In the year 1745 of the Star Calendar, the Empire fell and the Federation was established. All the different races rejoiced at the dawn of a new era.
Amid all this celebration, only Qian Huai was filled with worry. She knew the great star systems were nearing their end, and the apocalypse was coming.
Ten years after transmigrating into a book, Qian Huai could safely say she hadn't gained a single advantage. The reason was simple: she was the Empire's little princess, the number-one cannon fodder in The Only Mecha Pilot. She died from the start, and the entire book gave her less than a hundred words of description. She was little more than a bit player in the backstory.
But... Qian Huai thought, since she'd transmigrated into a book and was outside the main plot, why not try to find a way to fight the apocalypse? She had nothing better to do. But she hadn't expected the original male lead to discover who she was. With a single wanted notice, she went from an unknown lackey among the space pirates to the most wanted criminal in the universe.
From then on, Qian Huai was constantly on the run, and decided to turn against them.
In the year 1750 of the Star Calendar, the Federation continued to expand, extending its influence throughout the universe.
At the same time, the various races flocked to join the Federation and pledged their allegiance. The original male lead had become the First Marshal and was clearing every obstacle in the Federation's path, on his way to ruling the entire star system.
But the former remnant of the Empire, now the Pirate Queen, suddenly returned. She pointed her mecha's cannons at the Federation, and while she was at it, at the original male lead who had once set her up.
Qian Huai: Today, I'll show you what it means to be the Empire's one and only heir.
Reader notes:
1. There is a male lead, but he is not the original male lead.
2. I'll start writing the story about sworn enemies after I finish this one.
