Has Officer Matsuda Broken Through the Fourth Wall?

Hi, so here's the thing. A while ago, I played a dating game. The kind that's called a dating game but is really a boy's adventure romance game that takes tons of money, tons of grinding, and actual skill to play. Before I started, I'd already heard about its hellish difficulty, so I played it safe and chose a white-haired, curly-haired police officer in sunglasses as my target. To win him over, I started back when he was still at the police academy. I saved countless times just for that part, grinding away night after night. Once I finally won him over, the real ordeal began. The most deranged thing about this game is that, to get the true happy ending, you have to prevent your target from dying. My target was supposed to die in an explosion. To get the happy ending, I tried countless times and reached countless bad endings themed around either [He died, but I survived] or [We died together]. On my last attempt, my gameplay was heartbreakingly smooth. I finally fought my way through every obstacle and saved my beloved curly-haired officer. That was great. But I died. That was not great. Whoever wants to play this lousy game can have it! So I angrily quit. As luck would have it, I'm now caught up in a murder case and have been given a limited-edition silver bracelet x1. And the officer who's handcuffed me is that curly-haired cop. So here's the question: Why has a two-dimensional paper character shown up in the three-dimensional world? I'll wait here for an answer. I'm really desperate! [1L]: What is this, immersive writing? [12L]: No idea, but I'll bump the thread. Surely this can't be real...? [25L]: If the OP were actually handcuffed, they wouldn't have time to browse their phone and post! Believe in science, people! [55L]: This is seriously immersive writing. OP, give us more! [999L]: Hey, the OP seems pretty serious. I'm settling in here. [1000L]: Waiting. ...: Waiting too. [Reader's Guide] 1. The pairing is Matsuda. 2. The blurb may change, but the central premise won't. 3. The timeline is all over the place. Everything is in service of the sweet romance. Theme: Cherish life, starting with yourself.
