Murong Yi swallowed up six kingdoms and massacred the Three Realms. He was a tyrant whose name struck terror into everyone's heart, so when he suddenly got the idea to seize Princess Ming Zhao of the Li Kingdom, everyone thought she was done for.
Ming Zhao thought so too. Unfortunately, she had a quirk: the more nervous she got, the more her mind ran wild.
So on the outside, the delicate beauty looked ready to faint from fright, while Murong Yi heard her thoughts:
[Holy shit, if I knocked Murong Yi out and had my way with him right now, would I at least get to enjoy myself before I die?]
[Look at that naturally pale, tender skin and that bouncy, peachy butt. One smack and it'd turn bright red.]
[I'm so sick of him dressing in dark colors every day to act cool. What's the point of wearing all that? It's just going to get torn off by me anyway. What a waste of fabric. And that little thing has such a low neckline. Is he trying to seduce me on purpose? He's got quite the scheming streak for someone I've just met.]
Murong Yi narrowed his eyes dangerously, yet couldn't help tugging his collar higher.
Heh. Interesting.
Ming Zhao transmigrated into The Pinnacle of Martial Arts as the famous Princess Xihe, the original male lead's deceased fiancée and white moonlight.
When she finally managed to survive by Murong Yi's side, her former fiancé gathered rebel forces and marched straight for Youdu, intending to kill Murong Yi and rescue her.
The young man strode into the hall with a sharp sword in hand, its glint aimed right at Murong Yi. Turning to Ming Zhao, he said with deep affection, "Zhaozhao, come with me."
Murong Yi looked at the pair of lovers before him and asked Ming Zhao ominously, "What do you say?"
Ming Zhao was panicking, but her mind couldn't stop racing:
[Ugh, that brat didn't get killed by the formation after all. What a pity.]
[Is Murong Yi not very good at this? Why hasn't he taken him out in one move?]
[Suddenly, I'm not sure I want to sleep with Murong Yi anymore.]
Murong Yi's expression darkened instantly. "Not very good?"
He expressionlessly poured spiritual power into his fingertips. He'd already wanted to kill someone, and now he wanted to even more.
In the original story, Murong Yi was an out-and-out mad villain. He saw the world as filthy, which twisted his personality, and he was set on bringing about its destruction.
But Ming Zhao was still young, and she wasn't quite ready to die. Every day, while desperately trying to stop Murong Yi from going mad, she screamed inside:
[Ahhh, my spicy crispy chicken, my finger-lickin' original chicken, my spicy chicken wing tips! This bastard has no idea how wonderful the world is!]
[Poor baby in my belly, you haven't even grown up yet and already you have to suffer this terrible fate. Sob sob~]
That night, Ming Zhao slept soundly in bed. Murong Yi's eyes were dark as he asked, "Whose is it?"
Ming Zhao was completely unaware. She patted her round, full belly and smacked her lips with her eyes closed. "KFC~"
Later, Murong Yi tried everything and searched all six kingdoms, but he never found a lover named KFC. It became a lifelong obsession.
Before he could resolve this obsession, he thought with a cold laugh that he could put off destroying the world for now.
The original blurb is in chapter 27 of Inspiration Storage. I changed it to a similar gag (cg: Cang Lian Bing Dao Jun). I wrote this because I'm on the verge of going crazy at work, and I want to lose it every day. You can get a sense of my beautiful mental state from my other two books, The Tragic Novel's Heroine Is a Mad Dog and Winning Over a Dark, Moody Big Shot with Sarcasm.
Theme: Work hard to fight for what you want, and never give up in adversity
