Xin Chuxia was made by Second Master Meng.

It was no secret in their circle. Nearly everyone was waiting for Meng Biannan to get tired of her, because Xin Chuxia looked like Meng Biannan’s first love, the woman he still cherished. But everyone knew that an impostor was an impostor, and could never replace the real thing.

In her second year as Meng Biannan’s girlfriend and her third year in show business, Xin Chuxia won Best Newcomer.

The night she brought her trophy home, she learned that Meng Biannan had gone to the airport to pick up his first love, who was returning to the country. She waited alone until dawn. The roses in her arms wilted, and Meng Biannan never came back.

Xin Chuxia left.

She took nothing Meng Biannan had given her, except the fading kiss marks on her shoulder and in more intimate places.

Everyone thought that without Meng Biannan, Xin Chuxia would fall hard. They also thought she was only throwing a tantrum and would return to his side in a few days. Meng Biannan thought so too.

But she didn’t.

Xin Chuxia climbed higher and higher, becoming a top-tier star. She costarred with an award-winning actor in a romance film. In the stills, she was radiant and alluring, her eyes brimming with charm, a complete departure from her former pure and obedient image.

After the wrap party, Xin Chuxia returned to her hotel and looked coldly at the room full of roses. Facing the man kneeling before her and begging to make up, she said calmly, “I can’t accept Mr. Meng’s affection. Let’s leave it at that.”

She turned to go. The once aloof and proud Meng Biannan reached out in desperation, humbly clutching the hem of her dress. His voice trembled as he asked, “Chuxia, I was wrong. Will you come home with me?”

· He’s trying to win her back, but it may be too late. Replacement romance, mistaken identity, the real and fake first love, and plenty of melodrama. Happy ending.
