After Moving into a Mansion, I Discovered My Husband Was in Love with the Security Guard

Everyone said I was lucky: I had married a successful man and moved into a luxury penthouse with a view of the river.

But on my husband's old phone, I found hundreds of secretly taken photos of a man.

They were all of the young security guard downstairs.

The captions were so explicit they read like love letters: “I want to dirty his uniform.”

“He smiled at me again today.”

That was when I finally understood: my marriage had been a sham from beginning to end.

I didn't cry or make a scene. I started bringing the security guard expensive pastries, “running into him” on his patrols, and sweetly thanking him.

My husband's face grew paler by the day.

Finally, he went berserk and blocked me in the garage.

His eyes bloodshot, he asked, “You know? Are you deliberately taking revenge on me?”

I shook off his hand and smiled sweetly and tenderly.

“Honey, what are you talking about?”
