Rose-scented, refined and aloof Omega × Red-wine-scented, pretend-actor puppy Alpha

After getting her comeuppance, a serial dater named Chaoxi transmigrated into a book and became the sweet, naive Omega heroine of an angsty ABO romance between women. The original heroine came from a wealthy family and was infatuated with Yuan Xiao, an Alpha actress whose star had faded. The two are now secretly married.

The System tells Chaoxi to be Yuan Xiao's hapless wife and endure all the lousy Alpha behavior that comes with married life. That includes rough marking, lots of flirtatious admirers, verbal humiliation or the cold shoulder, staying out all night, skipping prenatal checkups, and vanishing on the day his wife gives birth.

By the end, the original heroine dies in childbirth, overcome by grief.
