Synopsis
In the 21st century, 3,300 years later, inside the large pit shelter at the Sanxingdui archaeological excavation site.
A girl from an ancient Shu priestly clan, gifted with supernatural powers, came back to life.
With her adorable, youthful appearance, she calmly observed this new world.
She planned to find and fulfill the three secret instructions left by the old priest, then seize the chance to rescue her people, including the Phoenix and Dragon clans, closely connected to the Bronze Sacred Tree.
At this point, this beautiful, powerful, and tragic girl had no idea that one day she would reach the peak of divine power, become richer than a kingdom, and own countless islands.
And, most of all... that she would become entangled with "him" for thousands of years.
Who could have guessed that the first person she saw after waking would be an outsider? She was too weak to kill him then, so she had to scare him with tricks and keep him around for her own use.
But why did he keep challenging her?
She wore a robe woven with golden threads.
He: Can we pull out the threads and sell them for money?
Her name was Golden Silkworm.
He: Is that your real form? Do you spit golden silk?
Golden Silkworm: He's so annoying.
*
When Ye Sang first saw Golden Silkworm, he thought he was looking at a ghost. A beautiful ghost, at that.
Bright eyes and white teeth, cool as an orchid, so breathtaking she was beyond compare.
Even when she said, "You're going to die soon," with a calm, unruffled expression, he couldn't look away.
Wait!!! When was he going to die?
Ye Sang glared at her with wide eyes.
"Become my attendant and obey me, and I'll save you," she said.
Ye Sang refused without a moment's thought. But this ghost seemed like a good person, and even though he had turned her down, she still healed him.
So he wasn't as afraid of her anymore. Instead, he started asking all sorts of irrelevant questions to get closer to her.
Although she said little and often looked at him with an indescribable gaze, she seemed incredibly tolerant. Ye Sang thought she was a good ghost.
Golden Silkworm: The calmer her face, the tighter her fists clench.
Ye Sang: She's so nice.

In 2021, six sacrificial pits were unearthed at Sanxingdui. The mysterious Bronze Sacred Tree, golden masks, ivory, seashells... The truth was about to be revealed to the world.
And the patterns carved into golden staffs and bronze vessels: each one represented the extraordinary past of an ancient Shu divine clan...
Reader's Guide:
1. A cold, powerful Sanxingdui heroine who is sweet only to the male lead, and a major boss.
2. A white-on-the-outside, black-on-the-inside, ultra-wealthy, celibate, retired special forces soldier.
3. Strong heroine, strong hero, feel-good story with a lighthearted tone.
4. A lightly suspenseful story set in an alternate modern world. It revolves around Sanxingdui culture but is, at heart, a sweet romance.
5. Please don't compare rankings~~HE~~1v1~~Both leads are each other's only partner~~Not too angsty~~
6. This is an alternate modern world~An alternate world~
Please let this cute little angel into your hearts~

I recommend my upcoming novel, the sequel to Version B's HE ending. Golden Silkworm and Ye Sang transmigrate into a book and are reborn. It's a sweet childhood-friends story.

Blurb:
Golden Silkworm had been a troublemaker since childhood, but heaven knows she really was only trying to do good.
When she was one, she offered her baby bottle to another child. The child turned out to be allergic to rubber, and their mouth swelled up like a sausage. The child's grandmother was so angry that she picked Golden Silkworm up by her feet and threw her to the ground. She nearly died.
When she was six, she went into the river to save a duckling tangled in water weeds. Instead, she startled a boy who was stealing fish, and he nearly drowned. Later, he came after her with a stick to get revenge, and she nearly died on her way to the Western Paradise.
When she was thirteen, she stood up against bullying at school, only to expose a major corruption scandal involving the bully's family. Their powerful connections threatened to make her pay, and she almost didn't live to see the next day.
Even after she grew up and entered the entertainment industry, she couldn't shake her strange tendency to get into trouble.
But despite all that, she became someone everyone loved, adored by her family and friends and admired by all.
She slapped villains in the face, thrived in her career, and raced down the broad road to a wealthy, carefree, happy life.
Of course, every now and then, she sat down to wonder why.
Why could a troublemaker like her be so loved by her parents, family, friends, and fans?
"It's all because Ye Sang has been carrying you on his back all these years!" her best friend fumed. "You've been childhood friends since you were little. He's done so much for you, and you still refuse to accept him?"
"You mean that ice-cold guy who knows sorcery?" Golden Silkworm looked up at the sky, her face full of anguish. "You wouldn't understand. In my past life... I sold my love on the Bridge of Helplessness to buy myself a life where everyone dotes on me."
**
Ye Sang knew that, in this life, Golden Silkworm hadn't transmigrated into a book with the magic and memories of her previous life as he had, but she still instinctively kept her distance from him.
When the old woman picked up one-year-old Golden Silkworm by her feet and threw her to the ground, he had risked everything to shield her in his arms and save her. Even now, he still had a scar on his chin.
When the boy who had been stealing fish came to beat six-year-old Golden Silkworm to death with a stick, he stepped in and fought the boy. He ended up with a major disciplinary mark and nearly got expelled.
When the powerful family of the school bully set their sights on thirteen-year-old Golden Silkworm, he stayed up day and night to watch over and protect her. As a result, he missed the college entrance exam, and his education stopped at high school.
Later, entertainment news claimed he was the wealthy backer who had made Golden Silkworm famous. He only smiled faintly. "I'm an unmarried man, and she's an unmarried woman. Anything is possible."
He knew that in their previous life, they had gone through countless hardships, but in the end, he had hurt her. So in this life, whether she wanted him or not, he had decided to give her a lifetime of splendor.
"What if she marries someone else?" his friend fumed. "You've been childhood friends since you were little, and she never thinks of you."
Ye Sang massaged his brow and let out a long, heartfelt sigh. "Then in this life, after I die, I'll go settle the score with Lady Meng. After all, she was the one who sold Golden Silkworm's love to me on the Bridge of Helplessness in our previous life."
I recommend my upcoming novel, "The Beloved Top-Tier Star Is from the Great Qin Dynasty," available in my author profile. A bow~~Sending love~~

When Su Qian was fourteen, she was attacked by an unknown assailant at her family's Medicine King Temple. Luckily, someone dropped from the sky and rescued her.
Her savior was peerlessly cool, noble and aloof, agile, and his long, flowing hair made him seem completely unlike a man of this era.
Su Qian stared at his stunning face, batting her eyelashes as an idea came to her:
She wanted to get close to him.
Not long afterward, she saw him again on television. He was the 18-year-old leader of the boy band The+One, named Fang Shuo.
A few years later, Su Qian stood across from Fang Shuo, facing him as a contestant in an audition show where he was a mentor.
His personality matched his appearance: aloof to the core, keeping his distance from everyone.
Just when Su Qian was feeling dejected, thinking he would treat her the same way, Fang Shuo focused all his attention on her.
His gaze burned brightly. His eyes stayed on her throughout the entire performance without once shifting away.
That was also when rumors of an affair between her and Fang Shuo began to spread like wildfire.
His gaze, as if he were taking her into his heart, was so focused and deep that Su Qian even wondered if there was some secret relationship between them.
Just as her heart began to flutter, Fang Shuo found her and asked, "The Su family of Medicine King? Do you still have the immortal herb?"
Su Qian: ...So he was after the plants at her family's place.
Wait! How did he know her family had an immortal herb?
She vaguely remembered that the herb had been passed down by her ancestors, and that every generation of the Su family had waited for the envoy to return.
But to this day, nobody knew who the envoy was...
*
They say that 1,800 years ago, Xu Fu was sent overseas by Emperor Qin Shi Huang to seek an elixir of immortality, never to return.
But that wasn't what really happened.
After enduring countless hardships, Xu Fu did bring back an immortal herb. It just hadn't matured yet and looked no different from a weed.
Emperor Qin Shi Huang personally selected a family of traditional doctors to cultivate it, ordering their descendants to guard it from generation to generation until an envoy came to retrieve it in the distant future.
On that same day, Xu Fu activated a time-space formation and sent the only man in the entire empire who met the requirements to retrieve the herb...
Theme: Promote Sanxingdui's traditional culture and protect its cultural relics.
