Good Girl x Bad Temper
1.
The first time Ji Zhiheng showed up at Wen Tingyi's door, she was captivated by the boy's stunning face.
Later, when Ji Zhiheng dragged his luggage inside to check in, Wen Tingyi knew her chance had come.
The wind ruffled the boy's hair, revealing a smooth forehead and handsome eyes. A smile tugged at his lips, brighter than the sun in the sky.
2.
Ji Zhiheng never expected to attract a clingy little bunny.
The little bunny brought him fragrant breakfasts every morning, reminded him to be careful not to get hurt playing basketball, and called him “Big Brother” in a soft voice.
She was also a star at Hecheng No. 1 High School, representing the school in competitions and earning excellent results. Gentle and well-behaved, she never lost her temper with people or in difficult situations.
Ji Zhiheng thought she was pretty fun.
But when Wen Tingyi cornered him in a blind spot beyond the reach of the security cameras, her eyes red as she demanded, “Do you really not like me even a little?”
That's when Ji Zhiheng realized that even a little bunny would bite when pushed too far.
3.
Ji Zhiheng had only come to Hecheng to hide from his old man. He never planned to stay there for the rest of his life.
But later, he discovered that every second away from her was spent thinking about her.
Wen Tingyi's parting words kept echoing in his mind:
“Big Brother, you were the one who started this.”
When he saw her again, it was a night of torrential rain. The girl stood alone in front of the city broadcasting building. Ji Zhiheng held an umbrella and was just about to approach when a man came out of the building, put an arm around her shoulders, and thoughtfully held an umbrella over her.
Ji Zhiheng's eyes reddened with jealousy.
At their high school reunion, he hadn't expected Wen Tingyi to show up, but halfway through the gathering, she hurried in. Their eyes met, and Ji Zhiheng couldn't hold back any longer.
In a dim corner, he held her captive in his arms and said in a low voice, “Wen Tingyi, I like you. So, so much.”

Blurb for Confessions in the Dead of Winter:
Sunny, sincere sweetheart x prickly young master who says one thing and means another
-
After the college entrance exams, Zhu Kui was accepted into Jingbei University. Since Jingbei was so far from Huaiyin, Zhu Kui's father asked a friend in Jingbei to look after her. That's how she met the guy she was told she'd known when she was little, Brother Shu Bai.
Zhu Kui had asthma, so Aunt Xu specifically told Shen Shubai to take good care of her. Shen Shubai tapped at his keyboard, his expression cold. “We're all adults.”
After freshman year began, Shen Shubai's photo went viral on Jingbei University's confession page. The top comment on the most-viewed post read: “This guy is the king of sharp tongues in Taopu. His B-king attitude is written all over his face. Anyone who likes him is in for a rough time.”
Later, a girl in a milky-white puff-sleeved dress appeared beside Shen Shubai in the photos on the confession page. She had slender, fair legs and a very slim waist cinched by pale pink straps.
Someone in the know revealed that Shen Shubai had even told her, “If you're cold, don't keep nagging me to get you a jacket.”
Only Zhu Kui knew that Shen Shubai had added two more words: “I won't.”
After that, Zhu Kui declared: “I'd sooner believe in ghosts than trust Shen Shubai's big mouth.”
-
During summer vacation, a young lady who looked rather spoiled came to stay with the Shen family. Shen Shubai's plan was to keep his distance and mind his own business. But as time went on, he realized the girl seemed to depend on him a lot, and he quite enjoyed being needed by her.
When Zhu Kui skipped class to go to an amusement park, he went to class in her place.
When Zhu Kui forgot her medication, he ran to the pharmacy to buy her more.
When Zhu Kui got out of class late, he saved her a seat in the cafeteria and bought her food.
These days, Shen Shubai was all about being there for her.
The moment his friend saw through his feelings, he bristled. “She's so much trouble. How could I possibly like her?”
-
Zhu Kui was pretty and considerate, and she had no shortage of admirers at university. A guy in her class had recently been going out of his way to chase her. Zhu Kui had made it clear in no uncertain terms that she wasn't planning to date anyone, but the guy just wouldn't take no for an answer.
At last, Zhu Kui couldn't take it anymore and told him, “I actually like someone. You know Shen Shubai, right?”
“He likes that dying sunflower of his more than he likes me.”
“I've got the character Kui in my name too. How do I fall short?”
“I need to try harder and replace that sunflower as soon as possible.”
Shen Shubai, passing by: ...
He pulled Zhu Kui into an empty piano room and held her slender wrist captive in his broad palm.
She asked, “Why is your face so red?”
Shen Shubai: “My scarf's too tight.”
Zhu Kui: “I don't believe you. Is it because you heard me say I like you?”
“Repeat what you just said in the hallway.”
Zhu Kui thought he'd gotten upset because she'd mentioned his beloved sunflower, so she kept her mouth shut.
Shen Shubai said solemnly, “I take care of you like you're royalty. How am I any worse than that stupid sunflower?”
