Blurb:
The first time Shi Yang met Shen Chi, she was terrified of him. She didn't dare breathe too loudly in front of him, and he scared her so badly that her legs went weak and she fell flat on her face.
Shen Chi had known about Shi Yang for a long time. She was the soft, fair-skinned girl in the junior high department. She smiled at everyone, but with him she was the complete opposite: painfully timid, speaking in little catlike murmurs and not even daring to look him in the eye.
One time, he cornered the girl against a wall. Her face flushed red, while he grinned with reckless confidence.
"There are only three people who can keep me in line: my dad, my mom, and my girlfriend." He raised an eyebrow, his handsome eyes shining with laughter. "Unless... you want to be my girlfriend?"
The girl blinked and quietly replied, "I could be your dad..."

Later, when Shen Chi saw Shi Yang again, she was wearing a gorgeous, expensive evening gown, posing beneath the camera flashes with a poised smile on her pretty face.
Shen Chi clenched his fists below the stage.
After the banquet, he was exchanging drinks with all sorts of bigwigs when a petite figure hurried past him. He heard her say frantically, "How can that be? I rented it until midnight!"
She gathered up her skirt and hurried off.
Later still, Shi Yang was hired for a hefty salary as a game designer by a rising game company. On her first day at work, she ran into Shen Chi, dressed in a sharp suit. Her heart skipped a beat, and she stared at him, lost in thought.
After a long while, she slowly said, "You look so familiar, boss. You look exactly like my boyfriend."
[Bonus Scene]
Shen Chi sang again for Shi Yang's birthday, but this time he didn't sing Oxygen. With Shi Yang and everyone else eagerly waiting, Shen Chi confidently picked up the microphone. The moment he opened his mouth, he stunned the whole room.
This... was worse than if he hadn't sung at all.
Xie Zhouyu silently covered his face, then lowered his voice and said to Shi Yang, who was so stunned she had no idea which way was up, "Yang, the only song Chi knows is Oxygen. He spent half a year practicing it."

[Upcoming Novel]
Ever since Yan Wen was born, she was engaged to the second son of the Duan family.
The second young master Duan was a notorious playboy who never stayed with one woman for long, while Yan Wen was the well-behaved young lady admired by all the elders, the very model of a proper heiress.
Yan Wen did not want to marry him in the slightest. Whenever the two met, they clashed like fire and water.
Yan Wen said, "There can't be two tigers on one mountain. Either he dies or I do."
Later, Yan Wen's arranged match changed to the eldest son of the Duan family, a psychological expert returning from overseas. Yan Wen called him the overseas returnee.
After they married, Yan Wen and her overseas-returnee husband stayed out of each other's way. He saw his patients, she pursued her career, and at night she made time to dance and drink at bars, waiting for their three-year marriage agreement to expire.
That was until Mrs. Duan insisted that Yan Wen and Duan Yubai move back to the Duan family home. Yan Wen's happy nightlife came to an end.
She stayed up all night cramming on Duan Yubai's habits, taboos, preferences, height, weight, head circumference, waist, hips, arm length, and everything else. She even figured out that he had a small mole beside his navel.
The next day, Yan Wen happily linked arms with Duan Yubai and moved into the Duan family home.
In the first month of sharing a room, Yan Wen discovered that her overseas-returnee husband didn't like to talk.
In the second month, she found out he was incredibly dull. Ask him what one plus one was, and he'd say two.
In the third month, Yan Wen told her best friend that Duan Yubai might be sexually frigid.
That evening, Yan Wen had just entered the bedroom when someone grabbed her wrist tightly. A low, heated voice reached her ear. "You called me sexually frigid? Hmm?"
