The Unlucky One Repeats History [Esports]

Si Manxing found a dating partner in League of Legends. The two played sweet bot-lane duo games together every day, until one day, the other person suggested meeting in real life. Si Manxing slipped away without hesitation. As if! He was in it for the flirty ambiguity of online dating. Meeting in person? Not a chance. With the attitude of "If one leaves, another, better one will come along," Si Manxing went on to find five, six, seven, or eight more online dating partners in the game. Later, Si Manxing went pro in esports and joined Team YN. One day, he realized that Yu Lin, YN's champion ADC, was the online dating partner he had refused to meet in person. After that, in every match Si Manxing played, the opposing team always included one of his former online dating partners. After one match, an interviewer asked Si Manxing, "People online say you were a notorious womanizer before you went pro. What do you have to say about that?" Si Manxing curled his lip into a smile. "Wise people don't fall in love." That night, Yu Lin cornered Si Manxing in the team base's bathroom. Yu Lin pressed Si Manxing against the shower's glass door and asked from behind him, "Wise people don't fall in love?" Si Manxing turned his head and blinked. "Only fools make the same mistake twice." Yu Lin bit his ear. "And who's the fool?" Si Manxing's legs went weak. "I am." Theme: Live well and love sincerely.
