I Made a Pact with the Spirits, and They Said, "Hell Yeah"

Mu Lin is a minor celebrity with an inherently yin nature, able to let ghosts possess his body. By helping them fulfill their wishes, he's resolved quite a few supernatural incidents in the entertainment industry and earned some extra cash. But during a shoot in the countryside, Mu Lin's ghost-hunting side gig went terribly wrong. Qin Bu, a ghost god who had been asleep for a hundred years, was summoned into Mu Lin's body. The contract should have been one in which the ghost god tempted a human into refining their soul, but through a twist of fate, it became a contract of protection. And the rules of this protective contract required love that was utterly sincere. So... Late at night, Qin Bu's hand closed around Mu Lin's throat, but he couldn't bring himself to squeeze. Tears streamed down his face. "Just thinking about killing you makes my heart ache." Mu Lin opened his eyes. "Then let go already!" At a haunted house, Qin Bu used other vengeful ghosts to attack Mu Lin, but couldn't stop himself from rushing out to protect him. "The moment I see someone trying to hurt you, I feel murderous." Mu Lin: "But you're the one who summoned them!" At the hospital, Mu Lin was unconscious, his heartbeat nearly stopped. Qin Bu stuffed the hundred-year-old ghost core inside him into Mu Lin's body. "When I see you dying, I wish it were me instead." Mu Lin slowly opened his eyes. "You really love me." Qin Bu: "Damn it!" On the day the contract was finally broken, Mu Lin stretched out his neck. "Come on, take my life." Qin Bu kissed his neck. "I want you, not your life." Theme: Change the world with love.
