The Crown Princess Has a White Moonlight in Her Heart

[The story has reached the events described in this blurb]

Everyone knows that Crown Prince Xiao Wang doesn’t love Shang Yun-zhen.

He chose her as his Crown Princess only because she looked somewhat like his unattainable first love, who was already married to someone else.

Even when Shang Yun-zhen takes a sword for him, he only thinks she’s foolish and tells her not to use it to demand his affection.

Later, when his first love returns from the frontier after her husband’s death, he immediately asks Shang Yun-zhen for a divorce.

He assumes Shang Yun-zhen will cling to him, but she merely gives him a calm glance, packs her things, and leaves the Eastern Palace that very day.

They say the greatest disappointment is silent. Xiao Wang is convinced Shang Yun-zhen must have loved him deeply.

After the divorce, Xiao Wang thinks he can finally be with his first love, but to his surprise, he feels not the slightest interest.

Working in his study, he thinks of Shang Yun-zhen.

Going to bed at night, he thinks of Shang Yun-zhen.

At every meal, he thinks of Shang Yun-zhen.

He misses her so much.

Xiao Wang wakes with a start in the middle of the night…

He thinks he’s fallen in love with Shang Yun-zhen!

That night, Xiao Wang sneaks into the Shang residence, only to discover that Shang Yun-zhen has already left the capital.

-

Three months later, with the border under threat, Crown Prince Xiao Wang sets out to the front as military supervisor.

Outside the enemy camp, he finally sees Shang Yun-zhen, along with the man beside her, who looks almost exactly like him…

His own twin brother, who was supposedly killed in battle.

In that instant, he understands.

The so-called stand-in was himself!

-

Day after day, Xiao Wang watches Shang Yun-zhen grow close to his brother, and his jealousy spirals out of control.

One night, he can’t hold back any longer and sneaks into her courtyard. To his surprise, he sees her embracing and kissing his brother.

At that moment, Xiao Wang feels as if he’s about to die.

#It’s my good fortune to be the stand-in#

#Zhenzhen, please let me be your stand-in#

Reader’s notes:

1. Only the male lead is a true stand-in.

2. The female lead only loves the second male lead at first.

3. Point 2 should tell you how hard it’ll be for him to win her back.

4. A fictional setting, very loosely based on anything real.
