Also known as The N Ways Only a Tragic-Romance Heroine Knows to Break Hearts and Bodies
Shen Ruyi transmigrates into an old-fashioned tragic romance novel, The Substitute Crown Prince's Bride, and becomes its heroine.
This heroine is abused in body and spirit, and is also a selfless, all-loving saint. Faced with any provocation, or anyone trying to provoke her, she forgives them with her generous heart.
Shen Ruyi smiles and says: Get lost!
*
Someone insults her at a palace banquet, while the dog of a male lead just sits by and watches?
Shen Ruyi refuses to put up with it, claims she's ill, and stays home to write.
*
The dog of a male lead deliberately abandons her during the autumn hunt, leaving her alone to wander a dangerous forest until she gets hurt and is rescued by the second male lead?
Shen Ruyi smiles and shakes her head. She prepares a map in advance, finds her way back to camp after being abandoned, and quietly writes.
*
Eventually, Murong Heng realizes something is wrong. Why is his crown princess so lazy? Hmm, she must be plotting something!
He immediately sends people to observe Shen Ruyi in secret. Some time later, a spy reports, "The crown princess writes in her room every day and never leaves the house."
At the same time, a storybook called The Substitute Princess Is Not to Be Trifled With suddenly takes the capital by storm. Nearly every young woman and married lady owns a copy. Even the emperor's most favored consort is so absorbed in reading it that she neglects sleep and meals. Some even say she turned down the emperor's advances because of the book.
"What's so special about a storybook? It's just romance," Murong Heng says scornfully.
"It's about a woman who marries in place of her older sister, is abused in body and spirit by her husband, becomes completely disillusioned, divorces him of her own accord, and eventually finds true love," his trusted aide replies, dark circles under his eyes. He stayed up all night reading it.
Murong Heng: "?"
Why does this sound familiar?
Later, Shen Ruyi starts writing her third book.
"A Bao, enough is enough. Can we let the heroine forgive the hero this time?" Murong Heng wraps an arm around Shen Ruyi's waist, half pleading and half aggrieved.
The woman in his arms lazily raises her eyes, kisses the corner of his mouth, and smiles. "Your Highness, I'm not done enjoying this yet."
Murong Heng's gaze darkens. He reaches out and draws the bed curtains...

Historical romance, ongoing: Spoiled Substitute Bride
Blurb
[Seems like a naive little bunny, but is actually a substitute bride and his true love x A crown prince who can be noble and gentle or domineering and ruthless]
Ji Rong, the crown prince of Dalin, has the elegant bearing of a graceful tree in the wind, but is renowned for his ruthless, merciless nature. Ever since the woman he could never speak of passed away, no one had seen even the faintest smile on his face.
That is, until someone who looked just like her appeared before him...
Shen Liyin wakes up after an accident with no memory.
At a banquet, she sees the crown prince and falls for him at first sight. When the decree arranging their marriage arrives, she is nervous but happy to become his crown princess.
On their wedding night,
"Your name is... Liyin?"
The clear, melodious voice comes from in front of her, and a faint sense of disappointment passes through Shen Liyin's heart.
So he doesn't even know my name?
"Yes." She still curves her lips into a smile, though her red wedding veil has not yet been lifted.
That night, Ji Rong sits silently at the edge of the bed and watches her fall asleep. He does not touch her.
Shen Liyin understands that the crown prince still thinks of someone from his past. She puts away her secret affection and focuses on being a good crown princess.
But Ji Rong seems to be playing a meticulous game of chess, using patience and tenderness to gradually draw her heart in.
When the empress dowager sets a trap for her, Ji Rong arrives in time to stand up for her.
When she is bedridden with a strange illness, Ji Rong personally climbs the mountain to pray for a talisman of safety for her.
Later, at her birthday banquet, Ji Rong vows to protect her for the rest of her life.
Shen Liyin thinks that by now she must have half a place in Ji Rong's heart. But one day, a woman named Qin Yin suddenly appears.
Qin Yin, A Yin: the person buried deepest in Crown Prince Ji Rong's heart.
[Bonus Scene]
"Qin Yin" has returned. A few days later, Shen Liyin discovers that she is pregnant.
That night, in the crown prince's chambers.
"Yinyin."
Shen Liyin stiffens where she lies on her side and says nothing.
A moment later, a familiar arm wraps around her waist, and a warm, broad palm rests on her belly.
"Has the baby been good today?"
Shen Liyin, silent until now, finally speaks. "I'm not keeping this baby."
"Don't you dare!"
Ji Rong's expression turns grim. He sits up and pulls her around to face him. At a glance, he sees her stubborn eyes, red-rimmed.
His harsh voice immediately softens, though it remains domineering and carries a hint of barely concealed panic. "I want this child, and I will never let you go either."
Theme: Fear no demons or monsters. Live a life of your own making.
Qingqing is like a (machine) editor who relentlessly urges updates, while the heroine is a procrastinator (who procrastinates as much as possible)
After reading this, I suddenly felt a little depressed... The author is an author I like very much. I also liked this book very much at the beginning, but the emotional line between the male and female protagonists became clear after more than 110 chapters... I don't know how I was so patient at the beginning... Alas, it took too long, and it felt top-heavy.
I literally died laughing when I escaped on a donkey.
He's here, he's here, he's here to take off his vest, hahahaha
Ha
Having read the novel, I must suspect that the male and female protagonists in the novel are based on me, thinking that my wife is saving money and running away.
Thinking of running away with Li and raising many beautiful men with his wallet, hahahaha
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, I do this when I'm nervous, I just put my palm up and brush my hair away (sometimes I think this action is pretty cool)
Hahahaha manual coding
Hahahahaha, I was urged to submit my manuscript
