Ju Yuyu, who failed to qualify for a government job in the demon realm, is sent from Zhuxian Town to the human world for a trial.
Her family weeps as they give her the essential rules for living among humans: don't let anyone discover you're a demon with superhuman intelligence, or demon hunters will find out and bring down a deadly calamity.
Determined not to reveal her genius, Ju Yuyu looks for work in the human world and sees a security guard wanted ad: no education required.
Ju Yuyu: I can do it!!
A female employee works as a security guard at Spring Property Management. She's petite and delicate, and looks like she isn't cut out for the job at all.
Just as everyone is trying to talk the heroine out of it:
The physical training officer criticizes everyone for being out of shape, but before he can finish, Ju Yuyu reaches the finish line.
The combat instructor has barely finished explaining the rules when Ju Yuyu catches the "suspect" in a few moves.
Her jealous coworkers bully her into registering visitors at the gate of a high school. After school, they find that the third-year students have her completely surrounded...
Coworker: Did I just see her explain all the hardest math, physics, and chemistry problems, and get every single one right?

Jiang Yi, the strongest demon hunter in the city, wields an invisible sword to subdue demons. One day, he realizes that a short security guard might be a bit of a problem.
Underling: Boss, let's capture that demon.
Jiang Yi looks at Ju Yuyu, who's just taken on five people at once and sent the criminals to the police station. He weighs his own combat ability without his longsword. "Let's wait a little longer."
"Boss, we should hurry up and capture that demon!"
Jiang Yi catches a whiff of the inexplicably sweet demonic aura around the heroine and says guiltily, "...Let's wait a little longer."
"Boss, can we capture that demon now?"
Jiang Yi: What era is this? You can't just go around fighting and killing. Can't you do something more respectable?
Underling: For the strongest demon hunter, what could be more respectable than hunting demons?
Jiang Yi adjusts his suit in the mirror and straightens his tie, beaming with joy.
How about falling in love?
Theme: Even ordinary jobs can shine.
