Gu Yu transmigrated, landing right in the middle of a zombie horde during the apocalypse. The door would be broken down in ten minutes.
Luckily, the System gave him a golden finger. He thought it would be a powerful supernatural ability, but it turned out to be a game. In desperation, Gu Yu linked it to his original world and posted a player recruitment notice on the gaming forum he used most often.
He thought he could only wait to die, but to his surprise, players really did teleport to his side!
So Gu Yu gave them their first main quest:
[Escort NPC Gu Yu to the Safe Zone]
Reward: Gu Yu's gratitude x1
After surviving one apocalypse after another, Gu Yu grew stronger and stronger. Having earned himself a very long vacation, he was happily enjoying his time off when, unexpectedly, the apocalypse descended upon his original world.
Seawater surged inland, volcanoes erupted, alien species invaded...
Gu Yu picked up his golden finger again, connected to multiple worlds he had once saved, and issued a single main quest: [Save the World]
Reward: The people's gratitude
Countless people who had once been saved rushed to the battlefield without hesitation. Dazzling supernatural abilities and powerful futuristic machines resolved one crisis after another. Only then did the former players realize: so they really had been saving the world all along!
