Being a Social Butterfly in Infinite Games

Xia Zhiyi only opened a hotel room door, and was sent straight to another world. There were other people here besides her, including her recently ex-girlfriend, Jing Ruyu. Then a mysterious voice rang in their ears: [Have you ever regretted the choices you made? [Have you suffered because you couldn’t control your own body? [Have you witnessed death and resented how short life is? [It’s all right, it’s all right. This is the “New World.” The new life you seek is here, waiting just ahead! [You lucky people who were chosen only need to complete your missions and survive to the end to claim the new life that awaits you!] It added two more things at the end. [Whatever you do, don’t die. If you do, you won’t get another chance. [Treasure life. It’s everyone’s responsibility. Good luck making it to the end, hehe.] Everyone was horrified, but Xia Zhiyi reacted differently. “That voice,” she said, turning to Jing Ruyu and offering an objective assessment, “sounds so sarcastic.” Jing Ruyu: “?” That’s what you’re focusing on? Only after everything that followed did Xia Zhiyi realize that this “New World” wasn’t just sarcastic. It was a deadly game where they had to risk their lives. Faced with monsters and demons in each instance, she decided she’d stop acting human if that’s what it took to survive! Later, she discovered that her ex-girlfriend, Jing Ruyu, had a secret. A secret no one knew about, and one she couldn’t bring herself to talk about.
