Ji Zhaoxue is a popular character in the single-player game Starbound Return. As the Empire's last general, she fought the insectoid race to the death for the future of humanity.
When she opens her eyes again, Ji Zhaoxue finds herself in another world.
Her new body belongs to an obscure nobody in the entertainment industry and the eighteenth backup option of a highly sought-after Omega. Kept dangling by a single promise, she has humbly given away her love and money.
On her first day after transmigrating, Ji Zhaoxue gets a call from the popular Omega.
A coquettish female voice orders her around: "You're nothing but a useless A. Know your place and stop pestering me, okay?"
Ji Zhaoxue, a top-tier Alpha since birth: ?
"Okay." She lowers her lashes, her voice cool and indifferent.

Ji Zhaoxue thinks the people in this world are truly bizarre.
The popular Omega, who has secretly made a mess of things, is adored by countless Alphas online as their dream Omega because of her sweet personality and flirtatious manner. With a face like a pretty ornament, she still has fans in droves.
The gorgeous, talented actress, on the other hand, is independent and once boldly talked back to a sleazy Alpha. She's been vilified as ill-tempered and has repeatedly ranked first on the list of Omegas people least want to marry.
But she's so cool!
Later, Ji Zhaoxue runs into Yin Cuo, the actress with a "notorious reputation."
The woman is dead drunk, her rose-scented pheromones bristling like claws.
Hearing a sound, she turns to look at Ji Zhaoxue. Her dark eyes are cold and fierce, but the corners of them are flushed red.
That flush looks as if it's burning with fire, and it leaves Ji Zhaoxue's throat parched.

A variety show.
Rising star Ji Zhaoxue and veteran actress Yin Cuo appear on the same episode. The haters ready their keyboards, waiting for the two to clash so they can write their hit pieces.
But...
Who are these two Alphas and Omegas happily shopping for groceries together?
She only ate the food you cooked. Is there any need to smile like that? Do you have to be so lovey-dovey?
After a few episodes, the "Xue-Cuo" ship takes off.
Netizens can't believe it: The actress Yin has a side like this? How strange. Let's look again...
Other fans are dying over the pairing: A cool girl belongs with another cool girl! Nobody stop me. I'm going to swoon over this right now!
Yin Cuo's fan club flourishes like never before.
Watching the numbers soar, the popular Omega burns with jealousy and calls Ji Zhaoxue. "If you still want to pursue me, I suppose I could give you another chance..."
Ji Zhaoxue cuts her off coldly: "Who are you?"

No one knows that Ji Zhaoxue once pinned Yin Cuo against a wall and kissed her.
The ill-tempered actress, normally so haughty, submits meekly like a cat, all her defiance melting into tenderness.
