Hey, Please Don't Threaten the NPCs

As the only NPC in the game to awaken, Han Ran knows he must not let the other players discover his true identity, or he'll be erased! He follows the players into one perilous game world after another with a perfectly straight face. But as he goes along, he realizes something is off. Why have they all started treating him like their leader? Hey, are you humans even capable of handling things yourselves?! You want an NPC to lead the way? Aren't you embarrassed? That's not how you play a game! Passerby A: "Heard? If you stick with that NPC, you can clear the game without lifting a finger!" Passerby B nods furiously: "Exactly! Even the bloodthirsty final boss in an S-rank instance turns into a total coward when it sees him, cowering on the ground and whimpering..." Passerby C: "I need to burn incense and pray that I run into him in my next instance!" Passerby D: "What NPC? That's my great-grandpa!" Han Ran: ??? Did my secret identity get exposed that fast? Theme: Humanity must stand together. Unity is the path to victory.
