The Moonlight Is Irresistible

Zhou Yue is the daughter of an ordinary merchant, yet her exquisite painting skills have made her famous among the upper classes. Whenever one of her paintings appears, it is eagerly sought after and sells for a fortune.

In reality, however, Zhou Yue is severely color-blind. Every painting attributed to the Zhou family was actually painted by her personal maid, Xu Tianxing.

Xu Tianxing is the child of a gardener and a servant, born to serve the Zhou family. She thought she could spend her whole life under Zhou Yue's protection, until one day, Master Zhou smiled as he welcomed a noble son-in-law into the family. Suddenly, she realized it was time for her to leave.

Many years later, they meet again at Xu Tianxing's art exhibition.

Xu Tianxing's latest work, Girl Napping, has just sold for an astronomical price. Zhou Yue raises a glass to congratulate her, but gazes at the girl on the canvas with a puzzled expression.

"Did you already desire me back then?"

[Author's rambling]:

I'm terrible at writing blurbs. This is actually a sweet happy-ending story.

Told in Xu Tianxing's first-person perspective. I wanted to try something different. No need to tell me if you drop it ^ ^.

Theme: Equality, freedom, and striving hard.
