Sang Zhijiu has been a beta for over twenty years when she suddenly undergoes secondary differentiation and becomes an omega. On the night of her differentiation, a twist of fate brings her together with her nemesis, Fan Wu, and they spend one night together.

After that, Fan Wu's attitude toward her really does change. Not only does their usual hostility disappear, but Fan Wu also starts showing concern for her.

Soon afterward, Sang Zhijiu is found to be pregnant. Since Fan Wu is good-looking and has a good personality, Sang Zhijiu decides to give her a chance to take responsibility for her.

Sang Zhijiu: "Hey, from now on, you can't pick fights with me. If I say east, you can't go west. You have to love me more than anything, and be good to me and the baby. Got it?!"

Fan Wu, who isn't ready to become a step-parent: "???"

--

Fan Wu is set up by someone, and under the influence of alcohol, she spends a night with a strange omega.

Afterward, she loses her memory of that night. Regretting it deeply, she reprimands her friend, then pays the other person several times the going rate as compensation.

When news spreads that her nemesis Sang Zhijiu has undergone secondary differentiation, Fan Wu begins to reconsider how harshly she had treated her and does her best to make amends. As they spend time together, she discovers that Sang Zhijiu's domineering, clingy behavior, which she once found unbearable, is actually adorable.

She admits she's fallen for her.

But then Sang Zhijiu is found to be pregnant.

After a long hesitation, she goes to Sang Zhijiu. "I shouldn't have held the past against you. If you're willing, have the baby. I'll raise it."

Sang Zhijiu, who has figured out that Fan Wu is the baby's other mother: "???"

Tsundere, overthinking sweetheart (Sang) vs. deceptively innocent, secretly cunning straight-laced woman (Fan)

Coming soon: Tasty, Not Sweet [A/B/O], blurb:

Shu Yanyan, a Chinese pastry chef, transmigrates to a world of stars and finds a beautiful amnesiac alpha. The beauty is sweet and obedient. Shu Yanyan can't resist her, and the two quickly fall in love and have an adorable baby girl.

But their happiness doesn't last. When their child is just one year old, her beautiful wife disappears.

Shu Yanyan is heartbroken, but she doesn't give up hope. She raises the baby on her own while working hard to earn money, hoping to hire the best agency to search for her wife.

Two years later, she has saved up a sum of money and takes her baby to seek opportunities in the neighboring empire. That day happens to be the Hu Qi Empire's celebration. Every skyscraper projects the image of one person, accompanied by the words:

[The Empress has recovered. The consort selection is about to begin.]

Looking at the Empress's face, Shu Yanyan falls into deep thought.

Isn't that her beautiful wife who disappeared two years ago?!

--

The empire strictly screens foreigners, and Shu Yanyan's pastry shop won't be allowed to open for at least three months. She finds a temporary job as a kitchen assistant in the imperial palace.

But the Empress is strange. She doesn't seem very interested in the pastries Shu Yanyan makes with such care, and instead keeps coming over to her.

"Yanyan, I think you're sweeter than those pastries."

Three years ago, when this person had amnesia, she had already swept Shu Yanyan off her feet. Now, Shu Yanyan feels her defenses crumbling.

She picks up a plate of red bean cakes and holds it between them. "Your Majesty, ahem, the baby is still here..."

Hearing this, Shu Xiaoye turns her head and covers her eyes with chubby hands. "Ah, Xiaoye can't see anything at all."

Shu Yanyan grits her teeth. What a little traitor!
