The Princess's Beautiful General

They say the newly returned eldest daughter of the General's Residence, Mo Li, is beautiful and talented. She can serve the emperor and handle cases, or bring down a bandit den. Other young ladies can embroider with a wave of their hand. She can smash iron with one.

The current princess, Li Qiuling, is considered a role model for all the noble young ladies, and her good name is widely celebrated. Little do they know that beneath her gentle exterior lies another side.

Scene 1

Matron: A young lady should be like Her Highness the Princess: gentle, virtuous, and well-read. Miss Mo can't even sew. What are we to do?

Li Qiuling: Matron, watch your words. I think living freely and doing as you please is even more enviable. Ali is just fine as she is.

Mo Li takes Li Qiuling's hand smugly: Come on. We don't need to play with them.

Scene 2

Passerby: Why does Her Highness smile as soon as she sees you, but never even look at me?

After thinking it over carefully, Mo Li answers: She must have taken a liking to my martial arts and wants me to be her bodyguard.

Li Qiuling: I hate that you're such a block of wood.
