1. Lin Mianmian, a minor actress whose career is barely getting started, follows her film crew into the deep mountains to shoot on location. She accidentally falls into a ravine and lands in a cave built from piles of white bones, with no one to hear her cries for help.

Deep inside the cave, Lin Mianmian finds a large white egg. Just as she's about to crack it open and take a sip, words appear before her eyes:
