After the Disciple Went Bad

Putting up a blurb in advance to collect some bookmarks. I’ll start writing whenever I feel like it.

The Junior Disciple’s Version:

In an age of chaos where demons and monsters run rampant, romances between masters and disciples in the mystic sects have become fairly common. For the sake of talented descendants, everyone cares only about strength, not family background or seniority.

One day, the chosen woman of the mystic sect suddenly realizes that her master is the one she is destined to be with in this life. So she quickly gets rid of the rotten romantic prospects around her and sets out to turn the tables and become her own master’s wife.

There’s just one problem: her master is Dongfang Qingming.

The story of Dongfang Qingming, the Supreme Venerable of Yin and Yang and a pillar of the mystic sects, and the things his disciples can’t help but say.

The Master’s Version:

Dongfang Qingming, a genius of the mystic sect who never gets involved in worldly affairs, took two disciples in his entire life.

His senior disciple is a lunatic, constantly missing and nowhere to be found. Only bits and pieces of gossip from passersby prove that she still exists in this world. So his little disciple, who stays by his side and keeps him company, is his darling.

Until one day, his little disciple says she wants to become his wife.

A pillar of the mystic sects, a real centenarian, scared out of his wits!

(Dongfang Qingming: Disciple, save me! Your junior sister wants to become my wife!!

Senior Disciple: If she wants to, then let her. It’s not her fault you’re blind.

Dongfang Qingming: ???)

The Senior Disciple’s Version:

Many, many years ago, Dongfang Qingming found that spirit in the Nether Abyss.

She said, “I want to become human.”

Dongfang Qingming told her, “I might be able to help you.”

Many, many years later, his senior disciple came to him with a shattered human heart and said:

“Master, I don’t want to be human anymore.”

But this time, he couldn’t help her.

After that, his senior disciple was broken.

Theme: A teacher’s love is as deep as a mountain.
